Good idea. I have a local dealer who has offered to put it on BAT. A standard F12,sold for something like $316,000 last week with under 1,000 miles. My car has 4,670 miles, but is a different animal . Thanks for all the helpful advice. Cheers, Mark

No doubt. But with respect, my car is far more unique IMHO. One of One. But I realize tastes vary.

Your car has low miles. Not super low but low but most have 3 or more times that mileage. If it has mint paint and interior as I think you remarked than anyone serious about buying would have paid the asking for fear of losing it. Agree BAT should get it done but no need to have a representative post it as you should be OK doing it.

What a car and what a gentleman Dr. Mark is. I am very lucky to get this car, and it is helping me with the pain of losing my 458 spider that was rear ended and totaled. The whole process of acquiring this beauty was such a lovely experience. Mark did mention that it is the first time in 25 years that his garage is without a Ferrari, and I wish him all the very best to be happy in a Ferrari soon. I will post pictures once the car arrives in PNW.

$280k was a steal. Easy $300k on BAT, probably $320k CPO’d at a dealer. Amazing spec

To assuage my sadness over selling my F12, I just placed a deposit on this. 10,000 miles, not a scratch and we reached a deal at $64,000 At least it has a Ferrari engine. In reality, I visited the Granturismo production line in Modena ( other Maseratis are made in an automated factory near Milan). The hand workmanship and production line, assembly techniques were essentially identical to Ferrari. A steal.

Not to hijack but of course car was sold so congrats to Mark!

I’m in the market for an f12 or 812 and I have also looked another low mileage f12 online owned by a dealer. The price is high (been talked about on Fchat) and talking with the SA I was told to be a collectors car who died. The car had some front end damage that required a respray and underside body panel replacement and needed leather work, sticky button repair and tires.

The dealer said the car is on consignment and said the owner will not budge on price very much. My concern however is with lack of any records it appears the car just sat unused for years and did not appear to get any service done. While you can pay for CPO I think we all know that CPO doesn’t cover everything especially any wear and tear issues. I have a friend that had a persistent oil leak on a CPO FF that was due to worn gaskets that ended up costing him 25k to repair.
Sounds like used f12 have some known issues (paint and corrosion, alternators). Anything I’m missing here? For 280,000 I should have bought Marks car!

Best of luck in your search. Koka bought one of the nicest F12s on the planet. Utterly perfect and one of one. I could have waited for a higher price, I’m sure. He is just a great guy and it felt like the car is going to a true enthusiast who will get great joy from it. I did ask they he give my first right of refusal if he decides to ever sell it. Just need to get through a tough personal period. Best, Mark
