Excellent point. The thing that appears to be lost on Poor Peter is that everyone here gives each other lots of schitt.
Geez, poor Moretti cops it more than anyone. And Adrian. I get my fair share about shields, carpets, F1, Chloe, etc. which is great.
I find all that bloody funny. And I dish it out too, hopefully in the same way.

But these days Peter is the only one who gets properly nasty and personal. It’s exactly what he rightly got stuck into Rob for.

I like Rob but he doesn't answer my calls (tried several times now) so in my book I've written him off .... a shame really

What Peter wrote back then was on the money, we were all getting use to people being called "Kew slappers" and slowly degenerating to a base level of disgusting behaviour.

We were all very good friends in 2012, Peter, Simon, Rob, Greg and many others but the death of Rob's dog and the subsequent sooking led to a lot of hard , personal feelings ...... Rob probably forgets that Peter and I drove to his place while he was undergoing chemotherapy to see how he was (the first thing we did when I flew down for the GP) and we were shocked to see our friend in such a state.

Do I want to see Rob back on fchat ?

Peter needs to pull his head in with the vitriol on fchat, because he is nothing like that in person, a lovely generous person who grows a tail and horns when sitting in front of a PC, calls me a dickhead on the net but has very constructive tips and ideas for me when the 355 plays up and is genuinely happy when I find resolutions for issues that pop up.

Those of you who may remember SteveG who died some years ago was visited by PP in Tassie just before he died (a very nice gesture) and it was Peter that found out about Pap's dad the other day ......... people that are REAL arseholes don't do those sort of things

I called Peter the other day to see how Victoria was fairing and how he was doing in particular , conversation going like this :

JM : Oh, you answered the phone ?
PP : yep, sorry to disappoint
JM : thought you may be dead ... well hoping really
PP : I'll try harder
JM : Under-achiever !!!

Then we get on with the usual F1 rubbish

I agree with just about everything there.

Whenever the above group mentioned plus sometimes many more,RobH,Carl,Mike etc,etc..it was exactly the same as a 'normal' GG type gathering.

I WOULD like to see Rob back here and just let sleeping ..oh s^&t...dogs lie....

Most of the seasoned folk on here knew how it went pearshaped and Rob came back for an all to short sojourn before the bully foiked it.

There's a huge difference from what you've written re lighthearted ribbing compared to continued personal attacks,as I have noted previously,pless has singlehandedly written off many great contributors on here.

My 'ignore' on him has brightened up my use of this forum...as discussed on the GG
