I just closed on a new hunting ranch, I'm going to document working on the land and other activities. It would be a great help for me for everyone to LIKE the video and SUBSCRIBE to the channel. Thank you so much!
Enjoyed the drone footage, one suggestion (which you may be aware of already) check with the Oklahoma Soil Conservation Service regarding your property. They can give you a soils map of your location which will detail soil types (clay, sandy loam, etc) which will be of help based on your future plans for water sources, food plots, etc. I hope you will update future land improvements going forward.
Yes indeed, you are probably familiar then with the Noble Foundation there in Oklahoma? Great resource for land use/wildlife info and Grants. ~Steven
yep, one of my previous ranches bordered them and we had a wildlife association about 20 owners. they let us use their facilities and would help with wildlife surveys etc. nice group. this property not part of that though.
I skimmed through the video and saw the firebreaks. Begs the question... AIRSTRIP? Maybe a tundra tired tail dragger?
ha, would be tricky have to clear the trees back more and the pipeline cuts have major elevation changes. the neighboring state property has wide and flat fire break, but not on my property.
Cool dude. I also have a quarter section of timber I hunt- 20 min from my home. It's a mot of trees that follow a creek. My west border is the creek and the east fence is where the trees end and the prairie (rice fields) begins. Not big deer but easy to maintain and get to......
perfect, so much fun to get away work or hunt on land like this. tomorrow Mia and I are going to hang No Trespassing signs on 1.5 miles of the border and then get a little hog hunt in.
