Beautiful Boxer ! The stock wheels look better than any aftermarket wheels out there. keep it stock and drive it . I have put almost 5k miles on my 1982 BB512i this year . It gets better every time I drive it.

Here's one of the NACA brake cooling ducts. I always thought it was a cool feature on the Boxers.

I know I've poked my nose into this thread before, but the sunset shot is calendar material, ain't it?

    Gary,
Here are some pictures of what I was telling you about. I also took pictures of the front bonnet grill which was painted red. It really bugged me at first because it wasnt original, but I actually think it looks better. I can always strip it back to the aluminum. I know for concours it wouldnt cut it but I am not a concours guy. I know I would never bring my car because I cant stand to sit around for hours while someone scrutinizes my car to tell me what is wrong with it. I have always driven my cars and enjyed them for what I think is right about them. That is just me. anyway take a look at the cut outs I am talking about. If they shouldnt be there I will have them eliminated.
    Thanks
    Charlie

Gary, I wasn't feeling well so I had to miss the unveiling. Looked like everyone had a great time despite the lousy weather.

I wondered what happened to you. Sorry that were sick. The weather was absolutely terrible, but we still had a good turnout. Did you see the driveway picture? No Ferraris because of the storm, but the "daily drivers" came... Albert's Maserati Spider, Jackson's Porsche GT3(?) and John's Bentley Arnage T....

Yeah, I noticed the lack of Ferraris in the drive way.:)

Feeling much better now after a restful weekend.

Not sure why I'd be MIA, Andrew?

Don't think the others would appreciate it if I get them sick over the weekend. The flu knocked me out.
