Love that car. The older Ferraris just have something the newer ones don't. Here is a link to a Boxer with 17" compomotives I think. Can't remember the tire sizes, but could find out from Mike Weaver if needed. http://www.exoticcarworld.com/images/sale/Ferrari/Boxer%20Testa/profile4.jpg http://www.exoticcarworld.com/images/sale/Ferrari/Boxer%20Testa/profile3.jpg
Gary: $70,000 in servicing from 96-02??!!!!! My God!! What in the hell did they do to the car? Regardless, I love the Boxer and hope to get one some day. Enjoy!! Mark
Here's some pictures of it, now home in my garage! I drove it for the first time today (Saturday) and it is AMAZING!!!!!
If walls could talk... Gary - the pleasure of seeing a Boxer go by - mmmmmmm... SWEET! Enjoy spreading the cheer wherever you go.
Does anyone have a pic of Adam Bereush's (sp) 512bb? He had some custom 17" wheels installed that looked incredible. Personally I don't like the Compomotives. They just look too heavy and kit-carish. Beautiful car Gary. I'm jealous.
Look great Gary. I particularily like the front of the car which is the only view that I will see in my rearview mirror!!. Charlene says hello to Sue.
Yes, the car is even BETTER than I had imagined. I can't even find one single rock chip anywhere on it! I'm almost afraid of driving it because the body/paint is so pristine, compared to my old 308QV. It even still has the original protective shipping plastic on the door sills!
Congrats Gary - beautiful ride. Personally (just my $0.02) I would leave the stock wheels - timeless, classic good looks.
SHMARK,how do multi thousand doller three piece split rims, that have the style of the F40 and 288 gto look kitcarish.LOL
Sorry, they just DO! How do multithousand-dollar 26" spinners look like supercheese on an SUV? Seriously, I'm a fan of clean, chiseled wheels. The Fikse FM5 is one of my favorites, and Adam's wheels looked like the Fikses.
Marty, thanks! Yep.... I know what you mean... guess I'll just have to buy some touch up paint and learn to deal with it. I already put over 150 miles on the car over the weekend! I don't even have a license plate yet. I had to get a trip permit and will need to try and get it to pass the emissions test this week before I can title it. Here's a shot that a friend took of me driving down I-5 on Saturday!
