Beautiful car. I like those understated Ferrari's. Enjoy her!
Dave: Did the title of your old 400 have the F101CL in front of the serial number? I know the plate on the inner fenderwell has all that on it, but the top of my steering column just has the 5 digit serial number, and so does my title.
Hi David, I have a similar, but red, car here in South Africa, which I've owned for 3 years. It's a wonderful classic Ferrari - it ticks all the right boxes: front engined V12, 5-speed box, carbs, knock-off wheels etc. They made 300 examples - mine is a bit earlier than yours, number 17187. However it is also 1973 - I know 'cos when I took a door panel off one of the Ferrari workers had drawn a girl's face on the back and dated it May 1973! Enjoy the car, and let me know if you need any info about the cars as I've accumulated a fair bit of literature. Nick, in Johannesburg

Cool, I'll try calling after I get back from a Christmas party later today. I found one of the original photos I have of your car being driving on a track by a woman. Back is stamped Pininfarina.
