Cupertino is the same way. Neighbors just put in 4500 sq ft house + basement, but with a garage too small to park their minivan. Argh.

 

after the bay bridge is built and the old one is torn down guess who bought it for scrap,thats right china,the company I work for has been building the piers from oakland to the island (harris-salinas rebar) and then the sections for the bridge,right now I've working on a 27 story in sac on capitolmall and some of the iron came from thailand,these are countries that don't have rules on smoging up the sky producing metals,thats why the iron in the states are $$$$$$$$$$$,some of the rebar I'm using is from even mexico made from recycled cars,thats why you see so many trucks with wrecks going south

 

Knick, I think it's time to sell some of the cars...
