Fchat, I need your help! I have a garden variety F40 and wanted to mod it into a GTE, you know, the one with the 3.5 litre engine. Unfortunately, I'm on Michelotto's blacklist and besides, they are hella expensive. So I decided to bore out my 2,999 cc engine myself by chucking some metalworking chisels into each cylinder. I started the engine and floored it for exactly a half second to get from 3 litres to 3 and a half. Subsequently the engine did this:

Now, my question to you fellow Fchatters is, should I have used a cold tempered steel chisel instead of a hardy chisel?
