Wow, the 'junior designers' are out in force. You shouldn't have built it without their input, Jason. Where is the bathroom TV??? You 'have' to have a TV in the bathroom apparently. Looks great. It's yours. Not theirs.
One of those black glass doors is the entry to the shower. It's a steam shower. 2 rain shower heads. Stereo Speakers, stadium seating. Lights etc. I wanted the full Vegas Spa experience. The other door is for the toilet/bidet. That room where the bath tub is is the closet. You can't see all the built in's. I'll put together a video.
Nobody claimed to be a designer. Nobody said their input should been solicited. Nobody claimed that it was necessary to have a bathroom TV. Everyone agrees that it looks great. Nobody claimed it was their apartment, either. A little lacking in comprehension skills, are we?
Here is some other ideas OK, it may not fit in the design you have, but it may fit perfectly in other places Danish Fuel Jerry Cans
2500. It's not a huge place. I bought it super cheap in 2011. Then dumped way more money I than planned. The thing about interior design that's hard for me is that there is no right answer. There are 1000 ways one could have done this condo and all would look awesome. So how do you decide? There are a 1000 beautiful faucets and tiles and countertops. Choosing is so hard for me.
the contemporary design was perfect considering the views you have. just imagine english country........
Indeed. Lots of really great stuff out there! I find it very confusing as well. Just finishing up on four units. Next project will be two more units. I try to list my criteria and then go with the cheapest option that meets the criteria, creates a unique look, is something that I like, and that is available. And I try to get the big pieces in place first, so that the smaller pieces' choice is somewhat limited by the big design elements already there. Would love to hear how others go about narrowing their choices down from huge selections.
I like the drapes. They provide a discrete room divider between living room and dining room. I would not want to add a new finish to this column as it will high light it. Using another hard finish from another area of the space will also close it in. Similar in the bedroom. The designer has done a nice job of dropping the columns into the background. The rest of the space is gorgeous and I particularly like the rugs in the dining and living room. They are well chosen.
The final result looks very nice. I wonder if you considered this product - Schluter-DITRA - Schluter-Systems
Looks fantastic. We remodelled our master bath last year and also used tile that looks like handscraped hardwood. We when with smaller tiles so we could do staggered joints like real hardwood while avoiding the potential for cracking.
Looks great!! But I Personaly could never live in a condo. No back yard, no BBQ, up and down elevators just to get the groceries into the fridge..ugh not for me. Yes I love yard work, I love all the gas powered tools I get to buy, I love the fresh air while working in the yard, my kid jumping in the pile of leaves, the smell of a fresh cut lawn. Just can't beat it.
Your drapes give it a very Mondrian / W Hotel vibe... I'm a fan. The point about having 1000 different faucets is so true, right now I am deciding on furniture for a mid-century property and there are infinite ways to style the same area; is it this lounge chair or that one? Wire or wood leg? Natural wood or Walnut? Don't forget to add a pop color, etc.
Ha. Those are all the reasons I live in a condo and not a house. This building like many has valet everything. They park your car and bring it back up for you. They haul your groceries up and put them in the fridge. They handle the cable guy and maids and deliveries etc. when you're not there. I travel a lot. It's like living in a 2500 square foot hotel room at the Ritz. I love it.
