Yeah, April's fools day !! I can smell the fish all the way to Colorado.
.....all the way to the river Rhein.
i knew this was gonna happen. when i passed by to ask info some months ago, the owner was scared as hell to release any info or even let me enter his property. i wasn't allowed anywhere near his horses. priceless stallions as well, i guess...
so, where is the problem?
You spoke to him over phone!
You got his address!
Why don`t you drive straight to the dude?
Do you want me to come over with the suitcase?
i live about 1 km from that barn.
why don't you drop off the suitcase at my home? i'll drop it off at his house!!
Can someone obtain a map of the area and a blueprint of the buildings?
Furthermore we need nightvisionmasks, walkie-talkies and dark uniforms...
Studying the map, we can see which side is our way in and we can prepare a nightal sneek-in!
But... how will we get the cars out of there unseen!? Any ideas?
We have to wait 2 more days till Friday, 01.April
Roel: " 1:18 "
(that would effects a life-time-bann buddy)
well, the side of the building is right next to an abandoned NAVO-airfield
perfect for our first 3.3 km nightly blast!!
This sounds really interesting indeed!
The cars were there already when he bought the building?
Him and the other guy who lived there before are no Ferrari fans.
Imagine if its a P4 or 250 GTO like some other people said.
Bring that suitcase right away with $200.000. He will accept.
P4 + 250 with racing history= over 15 millions
This is so exciting! Hopefully there are a couple of real gems in that garage. I can't wait to see how this fairytale ends. 'They all drove happily ever after' sounds good to me.
I think all you need is a good investigator...
In Malaga (Spain) I know the best Private Detective of this side of the world...
...and he is a F-chatter too...
This being in Belgium, Hercule Poirot should be called in ...
A few boys here at the ranch are ready to saddle up, load a few shot guns and hit the road to that barn..
Wow, I'm so excited, you better bring a camera when you go cause if there arent any pics I'm gonna fly over there and ring your neck, just kidding(or am i?)
Still eagerly awaiting and checking every few hours!
Same here, i'll look forward to seeing what tomorrow brings. But for now back to my psych homework I suppose....
More info in an hour......
Ok guys, here is the info before Wolfgang is gonna hang me!!
I called the mr today and he wasn't as shy anymore as yesterday.
He really knows what he is talking about. He is a housebroker and deals with cars like a hobby.
He has for sale a red 328 which he already has an offer from an englisch who already should picked it up.
Also he has a black/tan Testarossa for sale for about 55.000 euros
This Testarossa has been owned by Mike Tyson.
Now about the 2 barn find Ferrari's.
It is true there are 2 "old" red Ferrari's in a boot somewhere near Antwerp (Belgium). This are 2 Ferrari 3.2 Mondials in racetrim. They have been owned by a Belgium called van Rossum. The belgiums here on the board can tell more about him. He had a raceteam in the 80's with those 2 Mondials.
A few weeks ago I saw pictures from these cars on Fchat while they were racing at the 24h of Spa Francorchamps.
These cars are in drivable condition but not streetlegal. Names and sponsors are still original on it. Papers and racing history complete.
He told me they are for sale for a fair (low?) price. I don't know the price yet but I spoke to Wolfgang and we are going to try to make a 2 in 1 deal with him.
If any of you has pictures of the Mondials or a picture of the Mike Tyson car please post them.
I'll keep you updated in this tread!!
PS: Sorry, no April Fools Day Joke!!
but I only could find this lousy picture of the 1:43 model.
If I am correct, this is how the Mondials should look like.

Oh no... the ruined Moneytron Mondials...
I saw them once in the past...
They've been violated hard!
At least one of them was sprayed painted badly once in really ugly colors!
Looked like it was done with a rough brush, really thick paint!
The interior will probably be gone... the engine most likely in very bad shape...
They were sold at an auction many years ago for really low prices... something like 20.000 euros for the both or so, if I'm not mistaken...
Never heard of it again after that.
So there they were all the time!
Here's a pic of one of them in a bit better times...

Looked like in the past...
Oops, looks like they're not some rare classic F-cars then!!
Yes, i can also imagine that the cars are now in very, very bad shape!
Are you gonna buy them Roel???
Only if they are a real bargain.......sounded like he wanted get rid of them........
Tried to reach him tonight but only got his voicemail......try tomorrow again.
