I know this is going to come as a surprise to many (even me), but unfortunately I've decided to sell the 308. This was a dream car to own and drive with ZERO disappointments. However, I decided that my Porsche 911 Turbo S is the one to keep. I simply can't / shouldn't try to afford keeping both. If I could, this car would never go!!! Fact is, life is what it is.

So, here is my Bring-a-trailer listing that went LIVE today. It should close in a week (next Tues around 4pm EST). If you're interested or know someone who would be, please share the link.

Here's my thread here showing my ownership... Much of which is post in the BAT Listing also.

Thanks for looking and sharing the link folks!

I would hang on to that car like my life depended on it !! Are you not afraid of the regret that you might feel once its gone ? With that being said, its going to be sold in a heartbeat. Its a platinum car without a doubt. I wanted to ask if you had a HP figure , at the crank, with the 3.4 liter upgrade ?

    Thank you

Oh, I'm TOTALLY going to regret it for sure. I hate to have to do it, but I just can't swing this, my turbo s, and my truck.
I almost decided to sell the turbo s, but it's my every day / all year car, where as I can really only drive this 308 comfortably in the Fall / Winter.
I'm just too hot natured for this car with less than full blown modern AC. It blows cold but just not like a modern car. I just enjoy the top off experience too much and when I do that in the spring / summer (like last year), here in ATL, I just end up soaked with sweat!!
If I had the Coin to just keep and store it until each Fall / Winters, I'd probably never sell it.
Is what it is for now though.

What about the HP figure, and would you want to sell the F1 steering wheel ?

    Than you

    Sorry I missed that.

HP is around 270-300+ at the Wheels. Depending on the type of dyno. The dyno graph in the pics of the listing shows 270, but it was thought to be closer to 300+ had it been on a Dynojet chassis dyno vs. the Mustang (load cell) dyno... It's plenty of power for this light car.

As far as the wheel, since It's in the listing, I'm not sure how to handle that. Selling prior to closing would technically be false advertising. However I can turn the new owner onto you if they would want to. Reserve being met of course. If it doesn't sell, then I get with you.

Wow, 270-300 !!! nice, Yes please let the new owner, that I would be interested in buying the wheel .

Can I get the 3.4 conversion done on my 328 and still keep the stock ignition system ? I like everything to look factory, Im not like I have to have that, and it also depends on the cost , please advise . 300 At the rear wheels would be a treat. Do you feel a difference from stock with regard to the power ?

    Thank you

Mr. Paul Newman (Newman here on Fchat) would have to answer your questions about the F360 crank install for the Stroker treatment. He built this car for the prior owner back in 2012-2013. Have you not seen the build thread??

Me and my dad checked this car out and came close to buying it. It’s just as nice if not nicer in person, drives great, and has a great story. You’re not going to find a nicer guy than David, 100% class guy!

My first auction of one of my own vehicles. Very exciting.
Of course I don't want to leave money on the table, but $72k is doing pretty good for now.
Fingers crossed for a bit more.
