Just sold my 812 and looking to replace it with an LP640 + a V8 Ferrari. If anyone is an LP640 owner please drop your info below and let’s make something happen! Color preferences: neutral colors but open to any The only option that I really care about is Carbon Ceramic Brakes
Mine isn't for sell, but I just wanna tease you with some photos so you'll get one ASAP. Such a raw car! Have your reached out to Curated or Cats Exotics? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The steel brakes are actually very strong and they have the famous VW 8-piston calipers, but they are much, much cheaper to replace if needed (you can order brake pads for a VW Phaeton from your local VW dealer). Just for your info.

LP640, my favorite car of all time. Carbon brakes are a must, the steel brakes work good but produce so much dust. Here is my 2009 balloon white lp640 Roadster, best non skittles color, you can see how much it chages depending on the light, pictures don't do it justice. Btw the one at cats was previously owned by a buddy of mine, its super clean for the mileage, it appears the current owner didn't put a single mile on it since purchasing it 3 years ago. the LP640 need to be driven (at least 500 to 1,000 miles per year). Otherwise you are buying someone else's deferred maintenance.
I also like the murci.. LP640 and must say that white lookskiller on it .. I never really was a lambo fan but this is such a smooth look …very nice
To add: Carbon Ceramic brakes grip is optimal once the temperature is high on the wheels and are ideal for tracking/racing the car. The steel brakes are better if you are casually driving around. That is my understanding.
Disagree. I own an 2008 LP640 which had about 6300 miles when I bought it 2 years ago and have had no mechanical or electronic issues.
Cars that are driven regularly–even just a short jaunt to get all the fluids to operating temp–always drive better. Fact.
I’ve had 3 Murcies… they have amazing presence! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just think Ferrari made too many of them, I drove the car 11,000 miles in less than a year and I definitely got my use out of it. At the end of the day if it’s not rare enough I just can’t justify holding onto it as the market drops more and more… plus I wasn’t anticipating the next generation front-mid engine Ferrari super GT would still be an NA V12….
I am so jealous! This car is gorgeous, exactly the spec I’d have. If you *are* open to selling it at one point down the line, keep me in mind
Here are the production numbers. Long term investment the roadster will be the way to go with 425 lp640s made, but as a driver the coupe is more usable as the roadster top is a joke. I purchased a parking canvas top for mine that makes the car lot more usable. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This chart doesn't separately include the pre-LP update model, which is in some cases even more rare than the 640. I have a pre-LP update model with a manual gearbox and I never recall seen any other similar car in person. And I have saw several manual LP640s. However, if you buy supercars only for investment, maybe you should consider another hobby.
I’m not really concerned about where they go in value, I don’t do any savvy financing for any car I buy and I never plan on selling or “exiting” without a loss or when I buy a car. To me these are just toys and I only buy them if I can pay for them in full and not care about how much I drive and how I drive them! I just don’t like having the same toys as others haha
