Hi Tim and George, this a very rare Jaguar XJR15 ex Bob Wolleck. This a GTP car with the V12 and mechanical injection. The entire car is in carbon fiber and I just finished to replaced the carbon triple clutch. I should run the car again in the Fall after the St Louis event. Good observation to see that car hidden under the covers.. Take care Roland F40LM
No thanks, that's even worse than the LM. Access to drive is a real nightmare without removable wheels.. The gear box is a straight cut, in town, that would be impossible to drive. I'll keep that car on the track only. Roland F40LM
Hey Guys! Wow roland how many cool cars do you guys have? That Jaguar is sweet, but how does it compare to your daily driver F40lm? I hope to make it down to St Louis to hang out! And John You should come too! Don't be a party pooper. -Matt
Roland, thx for the pictures of the 275... Your jaguar is great, i saw the same car, xjr 15 in one friend of mine's garage in Liège... He is a really renowned mecanic, and he always has grat car in his garage... about the xjr15 he said exactly the same thing than you, it's impossible to drive this car on the road...but what an amazing noise
Merci Bob, super bagnole mais pour le track only. Matt, you better meet us at Gateway St Louis. John will be with me with his F40. This is just 1 month away. Bring some friends. I'm supposed to do a presentation after the firat day at the track. take care Roland F40LM
Hey Matt? Party Pooper? Let's party instead! Yes I will be coming out there to St. Louie with my F40 as part of the "Follow Roland Everywhere He Goes Tour". I look forward to seeing you again "Mr. Olds". I promise that I will give you a ride this time. How about you bring along one of your little hottie friends that would like a little track time too? See ya soon! John
Now you know why I keep John around ! It's not for the car but it's because he brings nice girls around !!! Maybe they will sit in my car too. Roland F40LM
if you already have enaugh nice girls to fill up the two f40, i'm sure that i can find some place in my 348
That's what this is all about : sharing. If we ever get to many girls, we will let you know !!! Just don't be to impatient.. Roland F40LM
Hello Matt St Louis is on October 9/10th. October 2nd, is the FOD Ferrari only event at PPIR foffowed by multi car event on Sunday. Take care and see you at Gateway Roland F40LM
Did you see those barn cars that Roland has kept hidden all these years? Now the question comes to mind, is this why he calls it "The Ranch" ? I think we should inform the Ferrari Barn Police that a search warrant is NOT needed as he is going to be on tour and we can raid the place then amd find the missing F40's and John's hotties that we all KNOW are stored out there some where in the bushes.
Barn car? I only saw awesome cars in great shape. If we start calling it anything other than the ranch I suggest Paradise! Where else can you keep your car and have someone take care of it and keep it looking and running perfect (JOHN) If I ever do get around to visit the boys in Colorado I will be sure lend a helping hand in keeping the ranch top notch! Even if there are no Oldsmobiles there!!
Hello Boys, it's a real ranch !! we do have cattles ( 6 ) !!!! We might have hundreds of acres to run upon, but the " barn" is where several beast are living.. You can come here to help, but better have a good pair of cow boy boots.... Roland F40LM |
Roland out did himself again and took my tired old car and made her shine for the Morgan Adams Concours last night. He must spend some very late nights in that barn. What a great event. Brett Derosier has done a magnificent job in two years to put this childrens charity event together. And speaking of hotties,,, one hottie named Dannette representing some local car company has a standing invitation for rides in my F40 at PPIR this coming weekend assuming that Brent wont pass out if she actually shows up. Good luck Carrot Top! Dawn has her fingers crossed for you. John
Thank you Johnny, it's always a pleasure to work on any F car..Right now, I don;t have any desire at all, maybe after this coming week end at PPIR..Keep your car clean till my heart will feel better... Roland F40LM
Roland: Keep your head up buddy,,, Time heals all wounds. You will be doing what you love this weekend with many of your close friends. See you Friday afternoon. John
