I was just wondering if there are any other members who spec their cars identically? My tdf and 812s have the identical spec.

Yes, my tdf and Speciale have identical spec. I believe an Fchatter in FL has a matching spec tdf and Speciale as well.

Camlet has two Speciali (yep, that's the plural of Speciale), one coupé and one Aperta both painted in Blue Tour de France. NeilF (probably the person Eilig is referring to) has chosen Bianco Avus plus NART Blue stripes for 458SA, F12tdf, both Piste and SP2 Monza.

Funny thing is there are differences but in big scheme of things somewhat similar, 812 feels very strong, 812 more refined (obviously).

Michael Fux often orders multiple cars in the same color. He liked Rosso Fiorano so much he used that paint color for five different Ferrari automobiles. Sometimes a special color on his Rolls Royce will also be used for a new McLaren to. His Ferrari 16M was painted Rosso Fuoco before anyone had heard of that paint color. The 16M can be seen third car from the bottom on the left side of the showroom. One common theme for many of his cars is a white interior.

There's also GregB who has his signature spec: green with orange stripes and accents (as seen on Pista, 599XX, F12tdf etc.). But I think the shade of green is different on each one.

Such a great thread, I have struggled with this a lot. Is it cool or boring to do the same theme and over time revise it - not sure if it shows a complete lack of creativity or someone full of confidence/courage to repeat what they feel is perfect to them. I am speccing an incoming Portofino and for some reason each time I build it like my incoming LussoT I just feel good about it :) So weird, I think we become comfortable with colour combinations... I have a huge soft spot for TDF Blue although the care of it drives me bonkers.

There's no right or wrong, the only thing that matters is, as you said, feeling good about it. If I had the money to build a nice Ferrari garage, I'd choose a different grey every time: Alluminio Portofino, Ingrid GTC4, Alloy 812, Argento Nur 488 etc. For dashboard and seats, I'd have three choices: Iroko, Cioccolato and Terra Bruciata. That would my theme.

I’ve got a rare 2 seat Maserati MC Stradale in the same spec. Mine is Nero pastello (non metallic gloss black) with giallo calipers, stitching, tridents, floor mats etc etc. You guys in the US didn’t get the full fat version I believe, such a shame as the changes make the granturismo into the car it should always have been, Enzo carbon seats and all.

@Cleva Couldn't you have specced the same wheels for the 812 that you did for the tdf, as well as LHD to truly have the same spec?

    Hi
Actually you raise an interesting point. I am a bit of a traditionalist and always spec a 5 spoke wheel on all my Ferrari’s. Interestingly a 5spoke wheel was not available on the tdf list of options hence they don’t match. For the 812 a 5 spoke wheel was available as were the tdf wheels but I preferred the 5 spoke wheel as a more traditional option. Both cars are rhd I just manipulated the picture so they would both face the same way for purposes of this post. Well spotted.
