Manny. Just read a review from 1972 of the Dino. R&T got 12MPG during that test drive, so, maybe 18 isn't so bad. Here, look for yourself. Image Unavailable, Please Login
To those looking for a Dino, Sheehan listed one that is really beautiful. http://www.ferraris-online.com/cars/FE-246GTS-04264/main.shtml
Looks like mine, except mine's a GT. Not wild that they put the Ferrari logo on the horn button and the floormats, and the engine compartment needs some TLC but otherwise looks nice. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
God, I like that one even better. I really like the GT back window better than the GTS. I remember when that was at Motorcar Gallery, I have admired your car for a long time. I hope it has turned out as well for you as hoped. Just abeautiful car.
the car sheehan is offering is a GREAT car. i know someone who was looking at it earlier in the year. in fact, i think, for the value, it is a car that one cannot go wrong with. i have to say that i have had my dino for almost 2 1/2 years. the last thing i have ever thought about was mpg. dinos are great cars that are 30-35 years old. enjoy them and you will not be disappointed. the last thing you will ever think about is fuel efficiency.
Absolutely true. I don't worry about mileage, just that it performs well. The electronic unit is being installed as we speak, er type.. I'll let you guys know about the progress, should be running by week end,but you're right, they are beautiful. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
