There is a very large chance that I will be moving to Omaha in January. I own a F355. Are there any good mechanics for regular maintenance/engine-outs in the Omaha area? I would really like to bring her with me. Also, I have heard West Omaha is the best place to live. I am looking for a townhouse or house with no major requirements except a 2-car garage, lawn-care/snow removal included, driveway, and almost new construction to rent for at least a year for $1500 or less (If any of you have a rental opening up, let me know. I'm single, no pets, don't smoke, and immensely clean). Any info is appreciated. I am asking here rather than Google because I love FChat.
Andre @ K11 Auto works on my Audis. Independent, cheap, and GOOD. Very experienced with Ferraris, Lotus, some Lambo work, etc. . 397-7463 He's just north of L on 79th. Back of the building.
Just got word that it may actually be Kansas City that I will be moving to. Being in LimboLand really sucks.... My boss is sitting down with the CEO next week for a final offer. They have offered her KC, Orlando, and Iowa as territories but she is hoping that she can get Nebraska as that's where she is from originally. If she cannot get Nebraska by Jan 1 she is going to take KC. Ugh.....
Check out Shadow Ridge in West Omaha if you're still considering living here. There are some nice places in southwest Omaha also, but yeah generally West O is where you want to be.
He's looking to rent, Shadow Ridge stuff is a bit above his budget. I was thinking along Pacific, but not much further west than 168th. I'm off 156th, stuff here fits the budget. If I had to do it all over again, I'd have bought a house in the wooded area of Fontenelle Hills in Bellevue, but I like quiet, hidden areas with lots of foliage.
Agree, but not a ton to rent, at least not in that price range. Whisky, many areas in 66 fit that bill (Tomlinson, and the area north of Pacific, between 84th and 78th come to mind, though the roads are ****e).
Moving to Omaha. Not sure exactly when, but will definitely be within the first quarter of 2011. My boss got the state and will be in charge as of Jan 1, 2011. I should be there by March at the latest. Seriously debating on whether to keep the 355 due to lack of qualified mechanics within the Omaha area. I'll ask again....are there ANY within the Omaha area...?
you poor bastard. tell Warren I said hello... as for the 355, I would keep it and just plan on it being in a shop in KC/Minneapolis/etc all winter.
Just think of it! You'll be Jim Fowler & boss'll be Marlin "We'll wait here while Jim is [fighting for his life] with this [enraged] Wildebeest" Perkins.
Not seeing much on their site regarding maintenance on newer FCars, but I will call the owner Monday. Thank you so much for the info. K.C. is less than 3 hours away, and I don't mind that drive for majors/etc. I am going to miss the car community here in the NW more than anyone could ever imagine....I would cry if I had to sell my 355 due to lack of capable techs nearby; I don't even know how to change my own oil....
You could also contact Woodhouse Motorsports. They may be able to take care of the oil changes there.
