movie thread

I just finished watching Petrolicious: "Lancia Flaminia Super Sport is Elegant Simplicity" and there was something in the exhaust note that triggered a faint memory of a movie I had seen from many years ago.
At the beginning all I could remember was that it was about a "professional" getaway driver.
Unsurprisingly, searching these terms got me "the Driver" & "the Professional", but then I remembered I thought it had George C. Scott, and so it was; the movie in question was "the Last Run"

I'd forgotten that the car in the movie was a supercharged BMW; with an exhaust note speaking of power with sophistication.
