General Lee....!!
I think it has to be either the Goldfinger DB5 or the original Barris Batmobile from the '60s. Generally, though (in no order, and some of these are just "movie cars"): General Lee Herbie Munstermobile (and Granpa's "Dragula") That thing from Beverly Hillbillies. Farrah's Mustang II Cobra II from Charlie's Angels. Lotus Espirit from The Spy Who Loved Me The Ford Torino from Starsky & Hutch. The Bullitt Mustang The truck from "Duel" JFK Lincoln 'o Death The Custom 'Vette in "Corvette Summer" That 6-wheeled thing Lady Penelope drove in Thunderbirds The "Hannibal 8" driven by Professor Fate (Jack Lemmon) in The Great Race Todd Milner's '32 Ford from American Grafitti - Suzanne Sommer's white t-Bird The primer '55 Chevy from Two-Lane Blacktop AMC Pacer (and AMC Pacer Limo) in Wayne's World The car from "The Car" K.I.T.T. Mr. Bean's Mini Gilligan's bamboo pedal car Luke's landspeeder 1974 Dodge Monaco Police Cruiser from The Blues Brothers Smokey & the Bandit Trans Am... Chitty Bang-Bang Black Chevy Van from The A-Team That cool, custom '67 Mustang convertible Dennis Quade drove in "Innerspace" Perry Mason's Continental --------------------------------- Glad Lucy & Ricky didn't have a car, as it would no doubt be in contention here.
Can't even fathom how KITT doesn't get more nods. Ask anybody, ANYBODY, in the world, about "that talking car" and more than likely, they will know the name of the car or the name of the show. A lot of younger people nowadays don't have a clue about the Bandit Trans-Am, much less an Aston Martin from a Bond movie, but they still recognize the one and only smart alec talking car ever. KITT, Batmobile and Herbie are popular because they didn't do normal car things, they did things we wished as kids our dads car would do. That's why a Ferrari on a cop show doesn't really cut it. KITT Batmobile Delorean Herbie General Lee
