is that last one their new big 170'? I saw an ad in a magazine but rendering was black bottom and silver top like the Predators. Looked pretty cool. Can't decide if I like the angular cuts or not. I am hypocritical as I miss the angular styles of the countach and other 80's cars, but for some reason not certain on the boats. I just love the Palmer Johnson 150's so their lies my bias.
No its the new Predator 130. The 170 is project named "Zues", it wont be out for another year or two.
My Dream is a 1961 Chris-Craft Constellation. I had a 23 foot Connie in high school, this photo was taken last year of her. It makes me sad to see her in such bad shape now. I have been thinking about buying a 55' and living on it here in Bioxi... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I thought it was RA's first too. However fellow Russian Mr Melnichenko is believed to have topped this with his new cruiser, simply called 'A'. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1035345/Rival-oligarchs-latest-toy-wont-float-Abramovichs-boat--superyacht-bigger-his.html#ixzz0bPsNX7U5

Here's the link to the gallery at spirityachts.com: http://www.spirityachts.com/spirityachts_gallery_ss.htm Even if the classic styling and wood-epoxy construction of these sailboats isn't to your liking, you have to love the craftsmanship and detail on them.
One of the most beautiful Yachts I ever saw. I took this picture in Cabo in Feb. 2012 Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is Attessa IV. The third Attessa I've come to know and love. Her owner brings his latest one here every year.
When did this thread move to discussing motor boats? They are not yachts ... yachts have sails and they are far more beautiful than any ugly chug chug boat. Pete

since when did the definiton of yacht become exclusive to sailing... yacht is inclusive to both types... sailing and motor... yachting is very nice regardless of which way one takes it
Endeavour, whose refurbishment rekindled interest in the J Class, once gracing the world's ports and waters with some of the most beautiful vessels to ever take to the water (saw her out of the water in Newport, RI once. Staggering sight.) About 5 years ago when this thread was started. The first post only included "ugly" motor boats. Both sail boats and motor boats have been in this from the start. The first post didn't even include sail boats. How can you call those ugly? Some of the yachts (excuse me, "motor boats") pictured are very good looking.
