Looking to find a good hand car wash. All of the "hand" washes locally that i have come across have the track to push the car through and i don't want that.

i want somewhere that you just pull up to, they wash the car and you then drive away. Any suggestions?

Try Mountain Lakes Car Wash on RT.46. I think they will do a hand wash for ya. I see the Tax DRs cars there sometimes. So Im thinking they must do a nice job. Im gonna take my 355 there in the spring. Cant wait.

The detail shop inside/behind High Marques (not the auto shop) offers detailing/wash services. Sounds like you really want a hand wash detail, not just an everyday car wash.

How is that place for detailing? I like to wash the car myself, but it's tough to find time to do a really good detailing...the day my car arrived from the dealer was detailed to such a high level the car literally looked new even though it was almost 10 years old...I'd love to get a high level detailing like that again!

Its not bad. I had my Porsches detailed there twice. The cars come out pretty good but I thought it was expensive for what I got in return. I believe it was $279. Not terribly expensive for a detail but I wasn't overly impressed. I also like to do it myself but once in a while its nice to have the whole car done up and then play touch up from there.

I was a little cold today. Is the wash done inside? Do you need to call in advance? There is a car wash around me that does hand wash but since it is outside, I was advised to go when it is in the 40's. I haven't tried them yet.

I am not thrilled about those rails. Had my reconditioned wheels scraped the very first
    month after it was done.

    TIA
    Ed
