I've only seen Moretti's on the web but they are really cool, small and beautifully designed. Didn't even know of the Sportiva. What are they like to drive?

Fiat based Morettis are quite like the Fiat they are derived from.

Maybe a 850S or SS w/ more power has better handling and perfs.

But we do not buy these cars beacuse of their HP.

I guess the problem is that I've never driven any of the fiats they are based on. I know they don't have a lot of horsepower. My question was more about handling...

    Beautiful interior!

    Basically, same chassis...

Some cars had upgraded engines like Vignale (my 65' 1300S originally had an engine upgraded by Siata).

But my former Samantha had normal 125S engine.

Indeed, also as you can see mine is a bit different because the fold in the sheetmetal goes all along the side of the body. I guess each car is pretty much unique.

So, the platform is the standard 1300? Really sweet driving cars and much under rated I think, rather overshadowed by their larger 1800/2100/2300 brothers... but actually better handling.

Yes, my Vignale 1300S has the normal type 116 platform, w/ an egine "developped" by Siata (and gear lever on to the floor - Siata brevet too).

My Moretti 1100R is a normal 1100R platform type 103.
