Good seafood and oyster bar. It`s downtown, so parking might be tricky.

Interesting....we were all pretty much drunk for the whole weekend....I thought the BT was in Dorval? I'm west coast so really don't know Montreal....I thought it was near the airport? Our hotel shared a parking lot with the restaurant.

Albeit that the BT was in Saint-Laurent, most people refer to it as if it were in Dorval. And yes, it was on the 520, not far from (on the way to) the airport.

Thanks Bernie, yes....there was a highway and we laughed when we saw vehicles pulling multiple trailers....super illegal in B.C. Also, the WWE (wrestlers) were staying in our hotel that weekend...big dudes.

Can I reccomend Da Emma. Went there with the Lady and the food was absolutely fantastic. It's on Rue Commune. One of the best meals I've had (grilled swordfish) A tonne of Celebs have their pictures on the wall and the Pittsburgh Penguins were dining there when we were there.

    Cheers

dinner tonight at Mangiafoco pizzeria. excellent dinner. highly recommend them. spoke briefly to patrick dempsey. perfect weather. all in all a good night however felt a couple rain drops so practice strategy may be out the window.

I believe Newtown (villeneuve - get it TownNew in French) is closed, but that use to be Jacque's restaurant/club. Been there a LONG.... time ago.

Jacques Villeneuve sold Newtown in 2009, and the place closed not long ago.

It was a fun place back in the day.... I was there a few times..... circa 2003 - 2005 ish if memory is correct. There were no huge street vendors on Crescent back then, just street partying. They would line up the fancy cars on Crescent and close off the road. Still lots of fun. Saw a British plated XJ220 a couple of times in different years. Twice on Crescent and once near Habitat 67.
