    I am up for hosting a monthly gathering of all Ferrari enthusiasts at the brookside cafe in stockton(the same meeting place for the Henry Tran Memorial). i am thinking Sunday mornings, like the first sunday of every month or something like that. The cafe is closed on Sundays so it would be easy to accomdate several cars/participants. We can meet for coffee, do lunch, or meet for coffe and go on a drive. I am up for whatever and want some feedback. I would love to have a crystal cove-like gathering every sunday, but think we should start with once a month and see how it works out. I was thinking about posting this on lambo chat, but will wait for your feedback. Jason

    Jason, my only suggestion would be to hold it somewhere in between Sacramento and Stockton. There are a lot of us here in Sacramento that I am sure would love to participate, and it would be much easier for us at a halfway point. Elk Grove comes to mind. There is a new restaurant there called the Black Horse, appropriate for this type of thing. The food is excellent and they serve Breakfast and lunch. A good drive would be to go the levee roads to Clarksburg afterwards. Just a suggestion as I was thinking of organizing a Crystal Cove like gathering here to. We need something like that up here. If noone else likes the Elk Grove idea, I am more than willing to go to Stockton, just think we might have a better turn out and drive possibility in the EG.

    The only problem with Lodi is the potential for a good drive afterwards, Lodi actually has some great eats though. Wine and Roses comes to mind.

    there is the foothills! Lockeford to Valleysprings and so on!

    and yes Wine and Roses would be a great place plenty of shade for the cars and great eats too

    Sounds like we have enough people interested in this, the only question will be where it is held. Someone want to start a poll? Stockton, Lodi, and Elk Grove sound like the contenders.

    Brookside Cafe is the name. Maybe what I will do is put together a special menu for lunch and then we can map out a drive. How about the second sunday of every month. Does that work for everyone.
