monterey mechanic "the sports car shop" guy tourigny

i have to put out a message for these guys:

guy tourigny at "the sports car shop" IN MONTEREY CALIFORNIA is the fellow that got the lp400 1120204 running and tunned prior to he auction at russo and steele.
i had called him in advance and reserved the 15th of august as i knew i needed some help with my timing issues and running issues....

he set aside all and worked on the car the 1st day it got there around 4 pm...stayed in till 8 pm... the next day till 9 pm.... made the car run like a champ....

we had some really complicated issues with someone having played with the floats in the past and jets etc....the issues were way over my bed time....he found them one by one..resolved ,fixed.ajusted....

his price : incredibly reasonable....he knows these cars and their details ...has all the books,manuals,workshops manuals...weber manuals,float weight,scales...so much stuff to ajust and make a super fine tuning...

if anyone around needs resto work done....or mechanical rebuild...or fine tuning...or troubleshooting, I VOUCH FOR THIS SHOP.

he is a straight fellow..no stories...zero stories....anyone who was here who heard my car run can say it was pretty damn tight...he ajusted the mixtures so well you had incredible combustion....no smoke or so little smoke...perfect low idle....just like a rolex on steroids.

in any case,i am not much of a mechanic pro..i am more of an esthetic maniac... this guy has impressed me....

i decided to send him my 2 other lambos carbs in a fed ex box ...my lp 400 and my down draft carbs...

hell i if i need to do a motor,i am putting on a pallet and sending it here...

i am sure there are some of you that live around here and can use a guy like that .... he is as good if not better than the big shops. his price is more competitive. his knowledge is of being about 40 years into ferraris and lambos...guys like that with the old school knowledge is impossible to find....

you guys in the area should take advantage of him if you have a vintage or older lambo...try him out and see for yourselves.
