    Hey guys,
    We're only a little more then 6 weeks out for car week again if you can believe it. I wanted to get a little earlier jump on it in hopes to grow our group a little this year.

    I've been organizing this meet for about 10 years now and we've ranged from 5-20 participants, later years have grown some. It's a good spirited drive on Hwy 1 with unbeatable views and some great pavement. Often we're lucky enough to catch the Concour tour coming the other direction on our return trip.

    Because of the traffic and general consideration to others on the road we start early, I'd ask you to get to Starbucks at the Crossroads shopping center at 6:00 AM with a planned departure at 6:30AM. Please be gassed up and earlier if you plan on getting a breakfast at bucks, we've had later leave times in the last few years because of the group size. The address is: 3650 Rio Rd, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93923.

    I hope to see you there. Please only plan on participating with an exotic or special car of some sort, no offense but "regular performance cars" will crowd us up too much.

    Just a nitpick, but Starbucks is not in Carmel-By-The-Sea, but in Carmel. Carmel-By-The-Sea is a small area of downtown that does not extend to Hwy-1 or even to Carmel River Beach.

    Apparently every day of the entire week. Is there a day that's less crowded than others, perhaps early in week ?

    Yes it is. I go by the City Zoning Map for accuracy...

    Since I have property in Carmel-by-the-Sea and follow property coming to market, I'm always keen on what is and is not in Carmel-by-the-Sea (higher desirability).

    Tempting, but just too darn early for me. I like to get to Carmel(-by-the-Sea) downtown early for the PB Tour layover, watch them drive in, then battle the crowds to see cars up close after they've parked on Ocean Ave. I then head out before it's over to get to the next event.

    Don't know what your planned route is, but a good chunk of Highway 1 is closed.

    Hey everyone, I've been out of the country so sorry I've not responded in a while. Our drive turns around before the closure, we shouldn't have any issue. I'll keep an eye on this but I see no reason to make any changes at this point.

    What day does this drive occur? I am assuming Thursday since you mentioned the tour, but wanted to make sure. Hope to join you all if schedule allows.

    I'm confused. Doesn't the Pebble Concours Tour occur on Wednesday, and this driving even seems to be on Thursday?

    If you had done a simple Google search you would've seen that the Pebble Beach Tour is and has always been on Thurs.
