Image Unavailable, Please Login @Marcel Massini I'm well aware that it's not the same as Casa Ferrari. I was trying to answer the actual question of @mvaldezf60 and point out that there are two separate things going on.
Tickets for Barnyard Ferrari event now available for purchase. I recall pre-pandemic when I showed cars there, it was no more than $50 and there were food stations as well as wine stations. Now it's $80 and there's no mention of any food...just wine (which isn't a bad thing). https://bsfw.ticketsauce.com/e/ferrari-event-at-the-barnyard-3
From the main event page (not the ticket sales page): "The Big Sur Food & Wine Foundation's Wine Director will hand select wineries to pour tastings (you may keep your fine Riedel glass!) while guests enjoy small bites offered by some of the Barnyard Carmel restaurants."
Not sure if this is a new event, but haven’t heard of it before… Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Haven't heard of this event before either, been going to Car Week since 2007. But again, there are so many events over the years it's hard to keep track. Wish they would bring back the Carmel Mission Classic.
Tony Singer (former organizer of the Automobilia Expo held at the Embassy Suites) is organizing a vintage poster pop up next door to the Porsche event. Image Unavailable, Please Login
^^^ I just checked the PCA Monterey Bay website calendar for August 2024 ... the VIN wine event does not show up. But this shows up on Eventbrite. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/vin-presents-porsche-pit-cru-wine-party-the-crossroads-monterey-car-week-tickets-937955228337?aff=erelexpmlt
So what you're really saying is that the link works, but it brings you back in time (2yrs). The link just provided in #39 takes you to the 2024 event (Tues 8/13). Oh, and 2022 was the inaugural event, making this year the 3rd.
Actually they have had the test drives at the petrol station on hwy 1 for the past 4 or 5 years now. You have to register through "your local Ferrari Dealer". lol Anyone have any info on the other events or drives going on? Maserati is already booked, BMW has three events (Thurs, Friday, and Saturday) all seem to be events not necessarily test drives.
Concorso Italiano is a "Go" ! They have recently announced that EATALY will be the exclusive provider for all the food and wine! So it should be a great day out
I usually do the Porsche Monterey Classic at the same time, which is free. If you've been to both events, what's the advantage of Pit Cru besides serving wine? Edit: I see they are different days this year. Still interested in hearing about the Pit Cru vibe vs PM Classic.
