Long time collectibles event is no more... Automobilia Monterey, the international indoor festival of automotive collectibles for 19 years, announced today that they will not be moving forward with the proposed 20th Anniversary expo. The show has existed as a distinguished event showcasing top vendors from the US and Europe; this decision was made after careful consideration of all current circumstances. Upon evaluating the present conditions, it became clear that the environment is not favorable for hosting an event that matches the high standards previously set. The website will still be available, and we encourage continued support for the vendors from last year’s event. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the remarkable vendors who have participated in the expo, as well as the nearly 1500 annual loyal attendees. We have loved providing you with the very best of automotive collectibles.
Is Concorso Italiano still on? I visited the web site and it said registration is closed. Am I too early? Image Unavailable, Please Login
It does seem a bit odd. I was able to register in Dec 2021 for the Aug 2022 event when it was the cheapest entry registration rate (they would adjust entry price up a few times as the date got closer), but I haven't received anything about registration from them. Perhaps a new crew is running it and they haven't got their act together yet. But after how poorly it was run back in 2022 (Ferrari aspect of Concorso), I gave up on that event.
Concorso Italiano is definitely on for 2024. Details to follow soon, Gary Bobileff, Chief Judge for Concorso Italiano for 27 years

Yes, Concorso rumors are the event has been sold. New owners are seeking feedback for a much more enjoyable event for patrons as well as registered entrants. Stay tuned as the logistics are worked out is what I’m being told. My suggestion to anyone interested in attending is to just check back often for the latest info….
Concorso.com We are currently working on our new website. We thank you for your patience as we prepare for the launch of the 2024 event. Please stay tuned and be aware that we plan to open registration in April 2024.
Monterey Motorsports Festival (at the fairgrounds) returns for 2024, locals can get significant entry discount. https://montereymotorsportsfestival.com/
Can somebody please explain WHO is behind this Concours on Tuesday? Thank you very much. Marcel Massini
How was the event last year? How was the food? Thinking maybe display a car… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I did not go, but have heard that it was not a very good event. I asked why and was told there was a lack of cars, food vendors and parking was very confusing.
Concorso Italiano registration (to exhibit or just to attend) now open. Base price $180 plus shipping fee.
Does anyone know if the Casa Ferrari event (the one off Highway 1 not the Pebble event) will be happening this year? If so how does one register?
That's long gone and not happening anymore. The event on Hwy 1 caused massive traffic problems. That's why Casa Ferrari is at Pebble since several years already. Marcel Massini
@Marcel Massini Ferrari has done test drives and Tailormade/Atleir sessions at what they call the “Ferrari Petrol Station” at a Richard Mille boutique south of Pebble for the past few years. Obviously a much smaller venue and not nearly as many people at once but of note. I’ve gone to MCW for many years now and every year it becomes more and more of a lifestyle “see and be seen” event than it is about real enthusiasts and cool cars. It also manages to get even more expensive and crowded every year. I’m debating whether to attend this year or not.
I am fully aware of those test drives starting at the gas station but that has zero to do with Casa Ferrari. Here's a pic I took 18 August 2023 right behind that gas station. They had two Purosangues and a blue 296 Spider there for testing. Your dealer might be able to tell more if they will do it again or not and how to get invited.
