Any word on Bizzarrini p538 at russo

The NART hitting $25M? Not SOOO surprising, given that - at this price level, just like top Picassos or other fine art - the top qualified bidders don't view it as money so much as a wire transfer, and can often get in ego battles because they want to win or are enamored with singular works.
What surprises me MORE is a 79 308 GTS in touched up, imperfect metallic beige hitting $60k. Nowhere near the scale of significance in terms of the investment/collector class, but VERY significant when you consider it's audience is not billionaire royals and tycoons, but $30k car collectors. This is exactly what happened in a very short span with Dinos.
166 Inter Stabilimenti Farina Coupe 037 S sold at Russo & Steele for US$ 975'000 hammer. Underbidder was from Palm Beach/FL.
I didn't know Series II cars were in that price range?!
Been for a while now.
They've been higher.
That was actually a surprise to me - PF Cabs seem to have held steady around that number for a few years while other, less-rare, non-convertibles have rapidly risen. There are only so many factory roadsters between 1947 and 1962 after all.
This car fits perfectly into his collection.
What did the plexiglass Daytona sell for (or high bid) at Gooding?
71 GTC/4 was $250k, how much did the 72 with a higher estimate go for?

I've seen $205K said on Twitter but not sure if that's correct
wich is the most expensive car sold?
The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO with $35m?
The FERRARI 250 TESTA ROSSA?
the $29.5M Mercedes-Benz W196 from last month?
The Mercedes W196 is the highest auction price. The $35m 250 GTO 3505 was not sold at auction. The 275 GTB/4 NART Spyder 10709 sold by RM Auctions is the highest priced Ferrari sold at auction.
The Mclaren F1 was the ultimate shocker to me. Unreal
I was switching back and forth between the various auctions and I thought that I saw the cut Daytona at Russo and Steele at $700,000 If that is true WOW!!
Does anybody have an update on how the various 330 GTCs did at auction this weekend?
what did the 2 750s sell for?
Do you think that the proceeds going to charity made it easier for the bidders to leave some cash?
McLaren is...wow. Never really been a far of the car's configuration. This is just nuts for a car built in the 90's. You can't ****ing drive it anymore because of speculators.
Edit: RM is slow in updating their site.
100K for a Fiat Jolly may be the best indicator of the market.
What did the 333 do?
Absurd but not kidding
These have been in that range for a while. Real ones are very rare.
