    I have a matching set of Mont Blanc Catherine and Peter the Great fountain pens.

    Mint condition.

    Peter the Great is uninked. The pens are overlaid in solid 18kt gold and studded with rubies and emeralds. I will post pictures after the weekend. Comes with all original boxes and paper work. Matching set from the 888 limited edition. I bought these at Bonhams about 10 years ago.

    Offering these at $12k, plus shipping and insurance in the US only.

    Pens are located in New York / New Jersey area and I am willing to offer a considerable discount to any local buyers.

    happy to discuss, but you just joined fchat and want to buy $12k pens. I won't pass judgement, but cash in hand before these ship FedEx overnight, given my references on here, would be expected.

    It seems that you already have, “pass judgment” I mean. A similar question could be asked of you, you want to sell $12,000 pens and yet you post no photos. Incidentally, I sold my $193,000 Lamborghini here on Fchat to a fella with little to no prior involvement here.

    I really do not see the issue.
    Buyer prepays, seller sends items, insured, signature requested.
    End of problem.
    Reactions as these would instantly discourage a buyer. and lose a potential sale.

    So I have 5K postings, does that make me more qualified. No. Yet you 'only' have 500,
    the same argument applies to you.

    If I can add my 2 cents for what it’s worth..... I have bought a few items from this seller and found him to be extremely reputable, honest, shipped quickly and everything came just as described.

    No one ever doubted that, it's just that I would like to see what I am tentatively buying.
