Jay you've stay late, you're the only one left LOL, or just too much wine ;-) Fun to see pictures of places that I now know. The breakfast at this place was extremely good. Would have been pleasant to have a relax evening with a glass of wine with you there.
I've been thinking about this. Mondipalooza is owned by Jay Goodman. There should not be another, unless Jay wants to do a sequel. We should keep an annual gathering going but it should have its own name, created by the host. Mondipalooza was just too special. I really really enjoyed myself.
You know, I totally agree with this. We can have as many Mondial gatherings as we want, but each should have it's own name. The creators of Mondipalooza chose that, so it's used. Mondipalooza II can't be anything other than another gathering back at the original scene of the crime. Good one Ted! Regards, Brian
Find the Mondial in the picture. Just like Find-a the Pope in-a the Pizza. By the way, someone asked me what I was in Hershey PA for after noticing the magnet on the back of the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
As we approach the one year anniversary of Mondipalooza, I just wanted to say thank you guys for one of the best experiences of my life. You guys are great.
Thank You Jay for hosting, yes it was a life changing event that my wife and I along with our kids will cherish forever ! Who knew a bunch of car guys could have so much fun! BTW, my daughter reminded me that this time last year, it was Ted's birthday so a very Happy Birthday to Valenzo! Hope the rest of the gang is doing well and I can't wait for the next get together but Jay, you own the "Palooza" experience and for that, we all THANK YOU! Jay: I think all of the thanks go to you. You took the initiative and saw it through. And this is so uncommon: We all constantly discuss various plans and it amounts to little in the end. It is the rare individual who actually makes things like this happen. Upon reflection, I am amazed at the experience. It's almost surreal in the sense that we all found ourselves in a different world for those few days. The thing I find most striking is that is was like a reunion of lifelong friends. I also agree with what Hank, Ted and Brian have articulated so well -- the 'palooza is something special, and it is yours. Other events are not 'paloozas. Best, Charles
Jay, we will remember every year for years to come. It was a very special event. Like Charles said it was like a reunion of longtime friends. I wish I could have been there from day one. You did everything to make it a success. Thanks Jay and your family!
Happy 1st Anniversary! Family and I loved all of it! I have been hoping to see Sera, whose new owner Alan is local to me owner, but best I can tell he has not got it registered to drive yet.
I talk about the 'Paloooza all the time. It was a great time. I saw Sera a few weeks ago at the Bergen C&C. She looks great! DavidJ
Happy Birthday Ted - and have a wonderful birthday vacation !! And Happy Anniversary, Mondipalooza !! Cheers, Hank
My Mondi was thinking about this too, all alone here for the moment. Looking forward to hearing what's planned. Image Unavailable, Please Login
