A double money approach is one way of trying to sell. It would be interesting to know what it does eventually go for, surely nowhere near £79k. There is UK Mondial 8 where the dealer puts the price up every few weeks, but still not sold..... the traders are pumping the market hard over here, that one is up for £35k
Actually probably worth clarifying, the car sold at auction for £42k, and has reappeared on a dealer forecourt for £79k a week later, not the other way around.
yes that's not a legit add. that car was on Ebay multiple times, and think it finally sold for mid/high $20k'S
That has to be a misprint/typo/mistake. The car is worth more than that just in parts for the running gear. Agree as to scam. Regards, Jerry
This link is for a previous (completed) auction. $25k. Given that, I think the add is a type and was probably either $29,450 or $24,950. Ferrari Mondial 3 2 Cabriolet LHD | eBay Sid
I am looking for a coupe to replace my 86' Euro 3.2 cabriolet. If anyone is looking for a nice red/tan 3.2 cab, contact me.
LOL!! I am craving another coupe, cabriolet just isn't my style afterall. I didn't know there were cabriolets in 83'. I just learned something new.
Optimistic, insane or just a bold price that sets a new benchmark? Ferrari Mondial 3.4 t 2dr WITH CREME LTHR+++ | eBay Now, an identical miles T cab went at auction recently for £43k. I wonder, same car that the dealer is flipping at an extortionate mark up? There aren't many of these in the UK and with identical mileage.... seems a coincidence. If so, this kind of behaviour starts ringing alarm bells.
The ad sounds legit, but I've emailed the seller 3 times over the past several days and haven't had a response yet. 2cam
Doing my usual internet loop through car dealers and came across this 84 red mondial convertible at Carroll Street Automotive & Collectibles - Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, Manchester NH This happens to be the first place I ever test drove a Ferrai it was a euro 83 308 gtsi about 12 or more years ago. These guys don't specialize in these cars just get them occasionaly.
their add says "cameo appearance" in the movie Vegas vacation. I don't know specifically which one it was, but if they are referring to the one where Kristy Brinkley drive a Mondial, that car was red/tan IIRC
I saw that and I think they just mean it is the same model as in those movies. A car dealer trick to get attention. I wonder if they priced out new TRX'S!
Is this a repost? Interesting white 88 3.2 Coupe with a nice (rare?) chocolate brown interior. Although it's in Canada the front bumper tells me it's a U.S. spec car. 1988 Ferrari Mondial 2+2 Coupe for sale #1749672 | Hemmings Motor News Inventory - autoform . Nor I. The brown leather was common on the dash for the TRs but I don't recall such rich color for the seats. Maybe it's the lighting.
$39,900. That's the highest I've seen for a pre-t Mondial. As for the color, at first I thought - yuck. But then, after looking at it for a minute or 2, it's starting too look good. I've always liked the white TR from Miami Vice, this kinda looks similar. Sid
Optimistic, insane and bold I'd suggest! If it is the same car they're being economical with the truth about the service history.
