    If you were going to race a Mondial, what steeriing rack would you use? Is there a Quick Rack (variant) that will fit? Something faster than the 3.4 turns currently used as standard?

    Is it possible to use a non-Ferrari rack?

    This sounds like a question for Nitrous but in the UK there are options I believe mainly based around experience of the hill climbers - possibly from QV ?

    Sorry - just realised you ask the same question and I give the same answer every couple of months ! Do QV / Eurospares / Superformance not have a solution ?

    Similar question - last time I was asking about faster Ferrari racks. None of the suppliers have them.

    So in order to get a different answer - I am asking now about any racks that might havethe characteristics I am after - ideally 2.2 turns quick rack.

    Surely there must be another non-ferrari rack that fits?

    You may want to call a steering rack refurb company and ask if your standard rack can be modified.......as the racks just an off the shelf peice there should be bits from other applications out there........but I suspect only a steering specialist will know of them

    I would say Qv London, they are probably the best Uk for tuning and do a superb job, Andy (Walclare) uses them for his Hillclimb Mondial, they supplied his race suspension etc...

    Personally I haven't had a problem with the steering rack, its been fine for me turn to turn, try fitting a smaller steering wheel that might make it feel better

    If I were to race a mondial, why would I use a steering rack? Shouldnt I use a car?

    Thanks Clive. I have a JK SCCR gearbox in the race car. Faantastic. Never thought of them for Ferrari. Will chase them for a quote.
