Pom. Great looking car. Looks just like mine! Jon. Like to see some pics when you get a chance. My car is having the front done too!
I hereby dub us "The Valeo Gang"!! Wouldn't it be fun to see how many Valeo owners we can pull together? By the way, my "Rachel" SN 93123, is on the transport somewhere out there. Tuesday is my day! Enjoy the race tonight - Cheers, Hank
Thanks. It has had to have some bits and bobs done to the body in places. The wheels were on the car when I bought it, funny thing, I had the car about 18 monthe (doh) before I noticedthat the spare was different ! Looking though the documents, I suspect that the originals were stolen. What do you think these are off ? They are metric.
They are off an early Mondial 3.2 before they switched from Metric to inches. They look great on a really super looking car! best rt

Here is the new Ferrari in our family...my wife's Christmas present that she got today. Keeping it a surprise was tough, but we did it. 1983 Mondial QV. Four seats for the whole family to go cruising! Birdman Image Unavailable, Please Login
Simply brilliant. Similarly, I bought my wife an arc welder for some quality family time. Merry Christmas!!! best rt
That is gorgeous. What a great way to have Ferrari fun with the family! I hope she drives it often. Happy holidays to all.

SO nice! You know, I am all for people adding after market wheels if they like (if no other reason than to get rid of the TRX's). But, I must say, the original equipment wheels /tires look best on the pre-86 models. Ferrari may not build cheap to run or durable cars, but they sure had an eye for design.
I am in agreement. I keep toying with the idea of 348 wheels or wheels from a 3.4t. In fact not sure if the 3.2 wheels differ from the QV. I am also considering painting the sills red, but then it changes the car from how Ferrari intended it to be. Mine (like so many ferrari's now) has the badges on the wing (which I do like) it also has the black intakes (though not sure why). Yes I do think the car looks great with the wheels. My tyres are in very good condition and plenty of tread, they were new about 3000 miles ago I think. When the time comes to replace the tyres at about £250 each I may then consider different wheels.
