That's OK Macster - as long as you're having fun driving your 3.2, that's all that counts !! Cheers, Hank
Mine was an 83 car, well it was registered in 83 but had a mix of 8 and QV parts i.e. door speaker covers. I'm sure that chassis no. was close to mine but I have no records from it now.
Mine is at Ferrari having a service at the moment and they told me it was purchased in 83 and yes it has the speaker covers, I've asked them to track down it's history for me because the importer to Australia lost the log book.
Mine is still registered on Ferrari.com, so I have the chassis number:- ZFFLD14C000043465. Just two numbers in the wrong order. Yours looks to be later than mine was. The DVLA website says it is still in the UK but I do not know of it's whereabouts.
Ok thanks for that, would have been interesting if I had yours. I would love to track down the previous owner so I can get some of it's history.
Same here, would love to know where mine went. I did for a little while think that mine may have been yours.
Hi just seen the registry here and was wondering if there is a database of how many Mondials were made for specific markets and in which colours and options etc.? I have a 1987 right hand drive UK spec 3.2 Mondial in bue Sera coupe (with sunroof). I was told that only 4 were ever made in this configuration for the UK. Not sure where i can find more info about it? Serial number is: ZFFWD21C000069521 Many thanks. Peter

I've never seen 348 wheels painted black. I like what you've done. They do give your car a menacing look.
Charles, if you want to explore having yours black for a week or two, try using PlastiDip paint. Easy to paint on and if you don't like it, peels off like Vinyl wrap. Home Depot sells it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Coupe QV SN 4180 March, 1986 Color Controversy. It is either Rosso Prugna, or Prugna Metallica [light metallic maroon]. Interior Tan Bought four weeks ago with 45,468 miles, now pushing 47,000. OBSERVATIONS I think this car was made for this color. Perfectly elegant and perfectly subdued. Presents like a two year old used car. Clutch and tranny must have been built by Cartier for Caterpillar then subcontracted to Ferrari. The new timing belt has gotten quiet. Much more power then I expected. I had an earlier CTS 3.6 vvt with similar claimed power and similar weights. The CTS was a dog by comparison. Second gear will pull to the red line from idle before I can count 'six potato'. Can't even use first gear in polite company. And no handling vices. I have been tuning suspensions for decades and was led to believe this car would need more stabilizer bar. Not so in my case. I have a 100mph sweeper among my endless selection of deserted mountain roads. This car absolutely will not bite me.
I believe you are the new owner of the prugna princess my former car. Congratualtions she is a beautiful example and I'm glad to see you are racking up the miles be good to her she was my first!
Here's an oldie, not listed previously. The VIN decodes to an 1980 model. However, the ad states 1981. ZFFLD10B000042887 Red/Tan, listed in Indianapolis, Indiana with 95,238 miles.
