I was following some of the threads on spark plugs, and ended up a bit confused. It looked to me like a good choice of plugs is the NGK BP6ES. I picked up a set, but before I install them, wanted some thoughts on gap. The book seems to recommend .025" gap. But the threads all talked about .035" gap. Which is correct? Car is an '84 Mondial QV, Euro, with stock digiplex units, distributors and coils, 8mm Magnacore wires.

    Ferrari recommend .024" - 0.28" and NGK recommend 0.6mm (.024")

I ended up getting NGK plugs for the car (BPR6ES). Gapped them to .025. Installed them last night. The car runs great!! Can't wait to take it out and see how it runs under load, on the highway (if it ever stops raining here in NJ). Definite improvement in idle and revving in the garage. I'm hoping that translates to a seat-of-the-pants improvement in power on the road. Will let you know.
