At what pressure does a 1984 Mondial oil pressure switch operate?
.7 bar, maybe? There's a switch for the light and a sender for the gauge, IIRC. The light should NOT be on anytime the engine is running, even with the gauge reading on the extreme left side at hot idle. The most common failure mode is leaking around the crimped joint around the composite section between the mounting hex and the connector. -Peter
I don't know off the top of my head, but the switch will have a mark on it... either in BAR or PSI or Kpa.... Yeah, about 10-12 psi I would guess.
