Thank you I will trouble shoot that. Well it's 5 pm here the shop closed at 4 pm mechanic called and said it will be tomorrow. Didn't add any $$$$$$$$$ yet just said engine is in but there are a lot of things to hook up and finish up. Bummer no car today.

My Mondial had a bad light switch, it's a very common problem. It's easy to check: turn the lights on and when nothing happens (even the rear lights stay off) then it's probably this switch (first check the fuses and relays). The problem is one of the internal wires (the bottom wire) had a bad solder joint. Repair is easy, just pull the switch apart (keep a bag around the switch because a spring and ball will jump out). It's a 10 minute fix.

All the lights come on the headlights come on. They do not flip up but they do work.

She sounds new. Engine looks new. She drives like new. Oh yes so worth it. Will be about two months on the paint and body. Will post pics when that gets started.

Uhhhhhh yeah you can't shut wallet. The engine was just the beginning it needs paint and body work. Interior detail new head liner. Sunroof don't operate probably needs new suspension from parking it like that. Lmao I have no idea what you guys are talking about there lol. But seriously as I said the old girl was badly mistreated and neglected for along time so still $$$$$$$$$$$ to go but it's ok. The drive home was so inspiring I am going to continue with the rest of it till its a new car again. I have decided after getting the engine right. The rest just must be right.

The tires were on the car when I bought it so I have no idea how new they are. They look pretty new I'd say the dealership that swindled me put those on there to help sell it or they are original not sure.

Total cost on engine was 10,700.00 USD for everything he did including the tunnel hoses full engine out major rebuild water pump rebuild a/c unit new distributors new plugs and wires new belts new pulleys new tensioners fixed head lights fixed fuel door switch paint valve covers and plenum as well as velve guides etc. plus he put new boots on axles. And a bunch of other little things. Very good price I thought. 6000 parts the rest labor. Not bad.
