    David, I believe you are correct. I could not imagine Ferrari installing a blower with ball or roller bearings in this car when, with the exception of most of the Ferrari designed parts, the rest of the design is minimalist, i.e. electrical connectors with an on/off cycle lifetime of 5, fuse box poorly designed and under engineered, undersized circuits for the fuel pumps, repeat electrical problems not rectified from the 8 to the T, etc. Not surprised that the blower bearings are designed minimally.

    When I source my new blower I have discussed with a shop the possible changing out of the bearings in the new motor to roller bearings. It may not be as difficult (expensive) as I thought.

    You hit the nail on the head. Yes, I can mold and cast those parts myself because I know how to do it but, time is money. A lesson I wish I learned many years ago, it would have changed my life. Just wanted to thank you for that.

    I appreciate you gents having sent money in advance - no need to include extra 5$ for Paypal charges for the others.
    I did allow myself to include the various shipping and bank charges in the equal-for-all shipping cost, believing that this will even out for all of us and spare me lots of work.
    Randall and Bart, having paid an extra 5, have been reimbursed for their 5$ via Paypal for Randall and via combined and reduced shipping for Bart/Jurgen.
    Originals parts haven't arrived at the supplier yet; keep you informed.

    Update: My clip originals have arrived and been accepted by the supplier as masters. I have paid the initial 50% and mold production will commence tomorrow morning. The technicians understand that dimensional tolerance is of utmost importance. I have given them ±0.1mm.
    Between us - that is a bit theoretical as the originals have a little more than that but I want to be able to reject the ones that don't fit when I will test them on my panel before shipping.

    The clips are done and will get shipped to me tomorrow for testing. I expect them on Wednesday and I will start shipping to the gents who have pre-paid right away.
