Beautiful car! My fist effort to buy a Ferrari was for a white 3.2 Mondial; the owner was too flaky to make the deal.
Looks nice! Now a floorpan like Bell made! Our Mondial are really dust collectors when driving. I do 10k a year and lost count how many times I cleaned. The floorpan, which Bell made keeps it clean. My plan is to make one this summer to prevent the Italian Dust from coming in.
I would love a drawing of the floor pan(s) so I could make some without having to start from scratch. Alden
Back from the bodyshop ... looks, feels and drives like new. btw. The fuel gauge is running ! It shows full and empty and everything between That only has taken 300 km of driving. Image Unavailable, Please Login
At 15 deg Celsius / 60 deg Fahrenheit I took another ride this morning, about 130 Km / 80 miles , but the water temperature didn't rise over 75 deg Celsius / 165 deg F. The oil temp rised (after a short sprint at Autobahn with 220 Km/h / 135 mph) over 95 deg C / 205 deg F but not higher. IMO the water temperature is a bit too low, but WHY ? Or isn't it too low ? Any suggestions ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's correct with these cold temps here in the lowlands. 3 weeks ago we went with a 328 to a meeting and het has the same readings. My Mondial is even a bit colder with the new format radiator I put in.
In the morning I completed the new fusebox-panel (thanks to Stefan again) with the new set of relays and fuses (thanks to Alden again). I used a copper-paste as a dielectric grease for getting all well contacted. At the weekend I will exchange the old fusebox and the HVAC relays. So far: THAT is exactly how a complete new fusebox has to look like Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Schedoni luggage set for my 3.2 is completed and checked fitting the luggage compartment today. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am driven about 3000km / 1850 miles by my 3.2 Mondial now. Everything is doing very fine. Everything but the climate control unit. The climate compressor runs anytime I switch on the system (pushing A/C or A/E button). No matter, what the temp-wheel shows, the Temp is ice-cold - even when I turn the wheel total left (hot). The vent-wheel works fine from "low flow" to "tornado". So my Electrican is now searching (again) and disassembling the interior ... In case anyone is interested, I have Mondial 3.2 stuff for sale, like manuals, pouch, tools etc. See the regular thread for this. Items are in Europe (The Netherlands). Thanks!
disassembling continues ... One of the vacuum-boxes is running fine, the other doesn't .... Q: How to open the upper flap (to the top of the Climate-control-Box) ? Also per Vacuum-box ? per electric box ? neither nor ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
