So it wasn't luck he didn't hit anything , just skill ok.. So I take it you as well think Massa is a better driver, funny really statistically speaking starting 1st finishing 3rd, and starting 3rd and finishing 1st I see it differently but ok ,it wasn't his fault it was ferrari's fault bit like China last year Lewis running on cord's, I see..
Well you can rest assured, I will be watching Massa a bit closer now I cut him some slack but so be it.
Massa's been doing well as of late, the team messed this race up for him with a bad strategy. While he may have made a mistake during the race, It was a minor one and everyone else did too, including LH. That said, I still don't think Massa has the consistency to win the WDC. Still, anything is possible, it's always been a mental issue with Felipe, not a speed issue because he's plenty fast. Time will tell, hopefully Kimi sorts out his recent issues or the team is going to be in trouble.
Luis, the voice of reason, I concur, the funny thing is, it's Kimi that dropped the ball in this race, but yes I'am fighting fire with fire here, because It appear's the Massa fan's have a hard job giving anyone but there driver any credit.
And I am sure we have all noticed how quick the Kimi fans are to give Massa credit after a good race I am not afraid to say that I am a Massa fan. I would like to see Kimi win the 2008 WDC, but I would LOVE to see Massa win it. Kimi had a bad weekend - it happens, he is still a serious title contender. Massa had a very impressive weekend IMHO, although the end result of a third place might not look that impressive in the history books.
I have always thought that Massa is a good driver. Just not a great driver. I think in the big picture Kimi is far and away better, but all drivers make mistakes. It's just how many? I also believe that jury is still out on Hami.
Kimi really did have another off weekend. It's strange what happens with him, his motivation seems to wane from time to time. Mika lost his motivation early in his career and I hope the same isn't happening to Kimi. He was off last year at this time too, only worse. I'm sure he'll bounce back but this really is the hard way to win a title. Ferrari is still faster than McLaren on pure pace, only LH's brilliance is keeping him ahead of them thus far. Kimi and Felipe should be ahead by a mile at this point. As for the Massa fans, well this is a Ferrari forum after all. Some people have rose tinted glasses that never seem to come off.
I agree about Massa...but Kimi still have to prove so much!!! Massa is a very determined pilot anyway, who can fight for the championship and in any case help the Team to get points for the Constructors one...Kimi seems not to understand this basic principle!!!
The only thing Kimi has left to prove is if he can keep his motivation up for the whole year. That's why I'd like to see Alonso in the other car...
oh you're my hero I'm sure MS use to call you for tips get over yourself, if you were as good as you think you are you wouldn't be here talking the rubbish you do a bloody dragster hahahahahahahahahahhaah was that a default on one of those subprime loans you give out that has got the US in trouble ??
Kimi stats...quickly off the top of my head. Poles - 12 Wins - 17 Podiums - 52 Fastest laps - too many to count Came in second in the WDC twice and is the current WDC. You're right. Kimi has so much to prove. He hasn't accomplished hardly anything...
after the race I was awaiting a Kimi Sucks thread. LOL just kidding. The season started with Massa doing bad and now it has turned. I felt bad for Sutil man, that poor bastard. Go Alonso.
