IMHO it's terrible - but of course that's only my opinion, in a free world anybody could do whatever he wants (as long it does not physically hurt others)...

This car pictured above is better looking than anything Ferrari has built since the the 355 . its that simple. Of course Im talking mid mounted V8 s .

    .
not sure about that, BUT, I don't think it's 'terrible' either. :) ........... (same as with some of the best 'modern' F40 renderings)

I’m solidly in the terrible camp. I see hints of a Lotus Esprit with an aftermarket body kit.

This is a car that Ferrari should start production on immediately . Im from the old school of Pinan Farina design, and this machine says a lot about what Ferrari has been missing in the mid mounted V8 sector . These modern V8s that Ferrari has been offering are not bad machines, they just do not spell Ferrari in the way those machines like the BB / 288 / F40 / 328 / 355 / 348 / F50 . The F8 is the pinnacle of the modern Ferrari no doubt, and I drool over the car , that is for sure , just not as much as when I see the aforementioned . I would love to see the car pictured above painted in red !! The design I think is wonderful, and its for sure bringing all the older designs into one car that pays homage to them all at the same time. I would like to see two round tip exhausts on each side lower and to the outside, as well as some deep dish Compomotive style wheels instead of what is pictured. This could be one bad ass Ferrari, its that simple. Oh, one more item, they should use the same type of motor thats in the Moto Techniques 388 GTB , can you just imagine that !!!! They can badge it the 388 GTO !!! Now that is thinking.... 478 HP, just like the F40, ABS no other nannys, manual gearbox , no EPS , I would use no more than the steering set up thats in the 355 . Price the car along the lines of a 911 Carrera 4 s with the 7 speed manual box .

There is nothing modern about that car. It looks like these 308's people fit 355 wheels and plastic bumpers to so they look newer. Ridiculous. There's already a 288 gto, if you want one go buy one.

You know, Porsche has been making the 911 for so long, they do a great job at staying with the same design concept while making the 911 look better and better with each and every iteration. Why cant Ferrari do the same thing with the 308 / 328 / 288 GTO, but only with one more iteration and leave it at that , or not ? It does not have to be this exact car, but something very close to its design. I think sales would go through the roof, and thats what Ferrari wants, they dont care about exclusivity , they can be just like Porsche with this new car, keep it under 200k, and maybe I can buy one someday, as well as millions of others who would love to buy a Ferrari, just not one that costs over 300,000.

We all know that this will never happen, not with a company whos building abominations like the FF, and what ever the **** they call that suv, good grief. The powers that be at Ferrari are in a completely different mindset , its that simple. Their mindsets are on slot cars, not the 388 GTO. I shall keep pulling up in the 89 while it garners more looks than any other Ferrari coming off the assembly line today.

Not at all, the F8 is one bad ass Ferrari, but in no way does it pay homage to the 288, its a 488 GTB on steroids. I love the F8 !! All Ferrari is doing is updating the 458 year in and year out. Ferrari , unfortunately will never go back to the sharp ,hard , sleek and low to the ground designs of Pinan Farina in the 70s, 80s and 90s. If anything the 458 is the closest modern day Ferrari that has somewhat similar " ish " lines .

this car is the same as dying Pamela Anderson's hair brunette in the early 90's. NEVER MESS WITH PERFECTION.....It's perfection for a reason. There is NONE other like it....

I see a Fastback Mustang and Lotus blend-- BUT I don't hate it-- It's pretty cool and brings me back to my muscle car days.... but again, I like the more modern, sleeker F8/Pista styling much better.

It's not ugly, but it's an awfully "busy" design - too many angles, edges, and features for my taste. I prefer simple, elegant, beautiful Italian -- not complicated, angular, harsh Asian. JMO.

First glance - hated this proposed design- but now it’s growing on me,,,

I think the front end is still too angular, but the sides and rear aren’t bad, IMHO.

Now show me the spider! :)
