    Hi, good folks!

We are a small group of car enthusiasts going to the super-car cornerstone of Italy (Modena/Bologna), and as such I thought I would check in to see if any who have been - or even live close by - have any recommendations.

Of course, there's Casa Enzo and the Maranello (factory) site. Famously, the town is house to Maserati, Lamborghini and Pagani. Unfortunately, it turns out Maserati is closed for August and Lamborghini is fully booked for the relevant dates.

In terms of private collections, I know of Panini (Hombre), Stanguellini and Righini.

Then there are the defunct Bugatti and De Tomaso factories, both within Modena city limits. The latter of which I believe a firm bought some prototypes, parts inventory and tooling that is available for display? (unconfirmed)

Anything I've left out? Clandestine automotive history gold mines? Any pointers in terms of what should be prioritized?

I apologize for the inconvenience given that the topic has been discussed to some extent before - especially on the topic of Ferrari based tours. As such, maybe we can focus more on the "underground" places and "hidden" gems (if there are any)?

De Tomaso factory is still there? I thought is was torn down and turned into a hotel or some kind of business building..

Pagani is definitively on the list. Last I heard on the De Tomaso factory is that it was abandoned circa. 2016. Don't know if anything has happened since? RS Corse is the firm which I have read bought a lot of the old inventory/tooling.

Thanks, Massini. Refering to your suggestions:

Visit Carrozzeria Egidio Brandoli in nearby Montale (between Maranello and Modena).
Visit Carrozzeria Zanasi in Maranello (four different locations all in Maranello).
Visit Autofficina Franco Toni (just 200 meters north of old factory brick entrance on Via Abetone Inferiore 41 in Maranello).
Visit Cuoio Mauro Schedoni & Co at Via Ghandi 44 in Modena.
Visit Carrozzeria Franco Ferrari in Casinalbo (between Maranello and Modena).
Visit Carrozzeria Cremonini in Lesignana (top paint shop, in Modena).
Visit Diena & Silingardi, famous and renowned engine and mechanical shop at Via Toscanini in Modena.
Visit Carrozzeria Auto Sport, Bachelli & Villa in Bastiglia (near Modena).
Visit the remains of the old Aerautodromo in the city of Modena with the freshly restored control tower.
Visit the cemetary San Cataldo in Modena where Enzo Ferrari's graveyard is.
Visit the shop of Prot Auto of Marco Baldi in Sorbara.
Visit the official Ferrari dealer Ineco at Via Emilia Est in Modena.

I understand these are mainly body shops that handle Ferraris?

Any suggestions as to places were one can pickup car brochures or other memorabilia?
