Hello Wolfgang.

I'm thinking of visiting your Modena Days on the 17th and 18th of July.
(I'm also gonna check out Ferrari Racing Days in September, I just couldnt make up my mind - so I'll take them both )
But first I would like to know a couple of things....I have a looong journey so I dont wanna mess it up you see.

1.I understand that the event will take place in Schwetzingen (I found it on my map) on the 17th - is this correct?

2.Is this event open for everyone?

3.You mentioned some prices in another post, about overnight and breakfast and all that - is this price for visitors too?

4.What happen on Sunday the 18th?? - are you all gonna "move" the event down to Hockenheimring to drive on the track? is it STILL open for everyone and whats the price there??

5.Do I need resorvation for overnight in Schwetzingen?? (me and my wife)

Well, thats about it - hope you can answer some of my quiz.

4.) Sow, exhibition and a 2 hours drive out with the F, L & M cars NO BMW, Opel...a.s.o. for the drive out
Hockenheim Racing Track F1 is ONLY for the payed participants and only for F, L & M cars NO BMW, Oples...a.s.o. BUT you can go there and visit the race from the bleachers for FREE!!!! Hockenheim F1 track is on SATURDAY between 17:00 - 19:00p.m.!!!! Not Sunday.

5.) Yes for sure, please contact direct one of the hotels.

Samstag ab 11:00 Treffen für Teilnehmer. Anmeldung NICHT erforderlich. Bei Einfahrt werden die Unterlagen/ Ausweise an die Teilnehmer ausgegeben. Preise siehe unten.
Begrüßungscocktail, Show, Ausstellung.
17:00 Uhr gemeinsame Fahrt auf den Hockenheim-Ring, Briefing und anschließend 1 Stunde
„freies Fahren“ auf der Formel 1 Strecke! Nur für Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati.
Zuschauer sind selbstverständlich herzlich willkommen und die Tribünen sind geöffnet / kostenlos.
Zeitgleich findet im Fahrerlager ein Fahrsicherheits-Training des ADAC für die Teilnehmer statt.

We will be there, who else is joining from the BENELUX. It's a +/- 4 hour drive.

What's the best timing for flying on the autobhan: early Saturday morning (6AM) or friday evening (7PM)?

Forget Friday...to many *** on the streets...take care on the A6, some radars were sighted the last weeks...

I'll be there too - along with my wife.
Gonna stay on the "Golden Loewe something" - gonna drive aaaaall the way from Norwegen (I live 15 minutes from the Swedish border)- think we're gonna leave in the middle of the thursday night, and be in Schwetzingen on friday evening.
Does anybody know if there gonna be any Enzos or Murcies there??? I know Wolfgangs Testarossa is gonna be there though
Is it hard to find this SV 1898 platz from this "Golden Loewe something"??
and how far is it from Schwetzingen to Hockenheim??

saw your registration already...what a long trip - think you will get the award for the longest ride to go there

Regarding your questions:
Hotel Löwe - is the Hotel where NINO has his Villa Modena Restaurant. Same house, same place- good choice!!!!
Enuo - YES, we will havenan Enzo at the Show!
Murcielago - Yes, we will have SEVERALS at the Show, incl. one tuned by DIMEX!
SV 1989 place is just outside of Schwetzingen, direction to Hockenheim, just the on the right side. You must see it!!!!!
Hotel Löwe, Schwetzingen in the city striaght accors the castle...very famous and well known!
SV place to Hockenheim....just straight the road direct 5km!!! we will drive in a convoy you won´t miss it!

I will call or write NINO first thing tomorrow, and make final reservations and all, so CU in Schwetzingen FOR SURE! The new "Rocket" won't be ready for the trip, but Tina's father has agreed to let us borrow the "RED ROCKET" once again for the trip to Schwetzingen, so we will be there 110% sure!!!

A very goodmorning everyone...
I know now I can make it to the Modena Days on saturday and I made the decision to go... I'm planning to leave home at about 6.30AM so I should be in Schwetzingen around 10.30...
Unfortanetely I still have to be at work on sunday... I've tried to reschedule that, normally no problem... but this time, no solution... So... I'll have to drive home in the evening, probably I'm leaving the party around early 19PM (maybe later ) coming home around 23.00? Really hate that... and no drinking for me off course...

One way it's about 470km, so almost 4 hours drive for me... but I really would like to be there... Am I a bit crazy to do this on one day?

BTW... Wolfgang, is it difficult to find a visitor parking space in the area close to the meet?

Parking is NO problem!!!!!!
Just in front of the entrance is a huuuuuuuuuuuuge parking ground for a few hundred cars....and parking is for sure FREE. Its 5 meters from the entrance!

I have been yesterday evening @ Nino, Villa Modena for a final meeting before the Modena Days will start.
Wow.....just amazing & perfect!!!!!!
What a show! I`m sure you all will live it.
And the weather forecast shows 30° for the weekend......maybe with some rain/thunderstorm. But the temperature is growing up to 30°!
