    I lost my old guy who did mobile rim repair for chips and road rash while the rims were still on the car. Does anybody know of anybody good to do this? I can't take all 4 rims off the car since I don't have an extra set and there is no spare. Any help would be great.

    I've used Son Tran to fix my HRE wheels, it came out perfect.

    THere is another mobile guy that I know tubeguy has used previoulsy and a few others in socal. The problem I forgot his name and also cant find the original post...I did talk to him before and he was very helpful and willing, but never got around to getting my rim fixed.

    Does anyone know anyone in the 626 area code? A friend of mine damaged his wheel and he does not frequent car sites.

    Son Tran is in the 714 and came out to Thousand Oaks for me and then to Burbank to do some of my friends cars. He doesn't seem to mind traveling a little.

    I was a little careless this morning and turned a corner a little too close to the curb. I called Son Tran to see if he'd be available to come out to fix the wheel I damaged. He said that the soonest he'd be able to make it out would be next week. Then he asked what kind of car it was. As soon as I told him it was a 355, he cleared his schedule and was at my door within 10 minutes of calling.

    Not only was it great service, but he does fantastic work, and is a genuinely nice guy. I told him about Supercar Sunday, and he's gonna try to come out from now on.

    Excellent info.

    I heard that Son Tran makes the marks "scuffs" virtually invisable.

    I can also vouch for Son Tran's excellent work. He was able to match the paint on my Murcie wheel perfectly (it was grinded all the way around the rim - ouch!!!) and that’s not easy as the extremely high gloss finish is very difficult to duplicate/match.

    He's also a very nice guy :)

    Son Tran is AMAZING. I have had him repair what I thought was a lost cause. The guy is VERY nice and loves his work. Dont bother with anyone else.

    I have a Mondial with chromed 348 rims and to re-chrome them. Do you know of a good shop in Newport Beach or Costa Mesa?
