I recently had to get an emergency tyre replacement on a trip and had to swap the existing rear P Zero for Michelin P4S (at least they were available in the K spec for the car)
The fronts are a pair of Pirelli P Zero K spec and still have about 20K miles left in them - as they're only 12 months old.
Has anyone run their car like this? If so any issues? Or should I bite the bullet and swap the fronts too?

It's legal as long as you have the same tires on one axle. But if you push a bit the car might react weirdly. For such a car I would definitely bite the bullet and get all 4 corners. Anyway the MPS4S are a huge upgrade from the PZeros so you will enjoy it.

If it was a normal car and in awd or something maybe you could get away with it, but 100% for an F12 you need all four tyres the same. Get PS4S tyres all round and call it a day for the next 5 years

20K miles left on a tire on a performance car? :p
You have a Ferrari, get all four tires matching c'mon. o_O

You "could" have mismatched tires when comparing front tires to back tires however keep same on front axle and same on rear axle at a minimum if you want to be cheap about it. Dare I ask...why? If you're worried about a couple hundred bucks lost on a tire just save your old set as an emergency hold me over until new rubber comes in should another oops happen to one of your tires. If you're driving some boring slow commuter car and want to be cheap go for it. Don't be a cheap on a performance vehicle, especially if you can afford a Ferrari.

It's an interesting one for me and not about the cost
I do quite a lot of miles (8-10K per annum) in it - but 'driving' not commuting and in all weathers. I have quite a 'smooth' driving style and so do not tend to ruin front tyres - the rears last about 6-8K by comparison.
Michelin do not do an MPS4S front tyre in K spec for the F12. As has been quoted in many posts on here, their 255/35 front is very narrow vs the K spec Pirelli and so many people suggest bumping up to the 265/35 to increase the tyre width and contact patch. So If I went with the 265 MP4S I would technically have a mismatched tyre anyway. I don't care about having 4 tyres the same - I was just interested in if anyone had seen any issues with mixed tyres front to rear axle

If your driving is "smooth" and do not tend to ruin front tires then you shouldn't have a worry about a slightly narrower tire. It'll be plenty to hook up. I have no issues in corners within reasonable limits on back roads with the MP4S all around.
