Most of you kow I had a 1980 400i auto that is now owned by a fellow Fchatter. Great car, I loved it and would still own it if I wasn't 6"2" and it had a sunroof which I bumped my head against every time I drove the car. Have another Ferrari but just can't get away from the 400 series. Just sharing my frustration here. I found a really nice 5 speed in a color I liked and as nice as my last one. Wouldn't you know it, I missed owning it by 1 day. Got beat to the punch by a guy locally. <sigh> back to the hunt.
Hi Dave I guess that I have two questions; 1. If the 400i that you owned wasn't comfortable to sit in, what makes you think that any other one would be more commodious? 2. What was the s/n and description of the one that got away just now? Best, John
Hiya John, The 400 series is a very comfy car for me. The sunroof is where the trouble was; really cuts the headroom. Have the serial at the office, I'll get it for you later.
