I'll be in Italy during the MM 2025. I'd like to get advice from anybody who's viewed the event. I'm staying in Cortonoa, which is close to Siena, but can start my trip in Brescia.

    - In general, can you get up close and personal to the cars without a special ticket?
    - What's the experience like in Brescia? too packed to be enjoyable?
    - Do they publish a google map the course? It would be nice to sit on the side of the road somewhere an picnic with the cars going by...
    - What's the experience like in Siena? like Brescia, too packed to enjoy?

    Thanks!

It’s been a few years since I’ve been, and others have more experience than me, but you should be able to find out where the event stops for lunch, etc., that’s a good opportunity to see cars up close and chat with people. I went in 2011 and Buonconvento was a stop, it was pretty great.

The organizers website will have fully detailed map with every single day, also full list of participants etc.
Right now it's just a bit too early for all this.
Suggest to check in February/March 2025.

Yes, you can get right up close to the MM cars, and one of the better less hectic places to do so is at the Museo di Mille Miglia in Brescia, where the cars are staging to go to the starting area. We got there about 12:30pm and parked with other cars on the street, then walked to the entrance.

Some MM participants had already left, but the whole place was fascinating to watch.. Everything is in motion, cars, crews and drivers getting ready and driving out to the staging area.. most were busy, some had time to be friendly, some were all business, so you behaved with discretion.

You do not need a ticket or permission to walk in and have a look around, though the area has a "feel" as if you might, staff in yellow vests directing traffic and pedestrians.. but you just walk right in, like you have reason to be there, and no body will bother you.

Here is what the entrance to the MM Museum area looked like... anyone with a vest, just walk on past and go in, look around..

I was with the Alfa Romeo Owner's Club people on the left. We just walked in this entrance past the staff with the yellow vest. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Most average participants were delighted to chat and friendly.. here is a couple sponging the rainwater out of their OSCA..

Jochen Mass was warming up the 300 and about to get underway, all business..

As a visitor the peninsula of Sirmione is a perfect place because you can see all the cars twice, they go to Sirmione and than back.
