    I did the dry run yesterday. Most of the roads are great, a few are OK.

    The route is about 68 miles

    Meet at 10:00 AM
    Leave at 11:00 AM

    We will meet in Dexter, MI

    A+W parking lot
    8220 Dexter Chelsea Road
    Dexter, MI 48130

    Along the way, we will stop in Chelsea behind the Clock Tower, perfect location for those who want to do a drivers change, and take any photos

    The end point is the Artesian Wells Sports Tavern. Parking is widely available in the back, or across the street from the restaurant

    Cement City, MI 49233

    A few miles ahead of the end point are the old tourist trap Irish Hills tower observatories if anybody wants to stop by, and look at the deselect buildings, we can do that.

    Wish I was still in town and could make it to this, I don't know the route but there are some awesome roads in that area and i'm sure Isaac knows them :) Can't wait to see the photos.

    I always forget how far away your drives are from where I am located. The ending point is a nice two hour drive home lol

    Wow, I'm glad to have read this so I'm prepared for the return drive! It's an hour and a half via US12 to my house in Farmington Hills. Not so bad! I hope to see some new things on that drive home. Come out & do it!

    I'm not throwing a grenade here with this, rather just a "heads-up" as I heard about it on the radidio this AM.... I really have no idea what quantity of crowd/traffic it will generate down near the planned end-point.

    I wouldn't anticipate a crowd of 100,000's of people like the race. The restaurant is all set up for us.

    Weather is looking good! 51-70 and sunny!

    Car is back together. A shakedown drive to work tomorrow and a fill-up with pure gas, then off we go Saturday!
