Macomb, MI here. I usually hang out on the Ferrari list. Have been there since it started, mostly a lurker now.

I'm a transplant from Baltimore, MD (thanks General) and a very active Ferrari group.

My old roommate's soon-to-be inlaws live on Van Dyke in Washington. I've been over there a couple of times, but mostly just to sleep.

I lived in Grand Rapids and Kentwood for the majority of last year.

 

No actually my dads office is a bit further down, by Frahzo(sp?) road.

Wasn't that show absorbed into Meadowbrook?

 

You are thinking of the Concorso d'Italia. That was absorbed into the Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance. I liked it better when it was held at the Ford mansion as a seperate event.

 

Concorso is no longer affiliated with Meadowbrook . It is again a separate event . I believe it will be in Sept. Stay tuned.

thats not to say that there wont be a few F cars at the concours at Meadowbrook; just not like last year

 

Is there also a Concours at Cranbrook? Does anybody have any info on this? Their website does not have any dates and Google came up nil.

The Detroit papers said the same thing. There will still be Italians there just not in the numbers of 2005.

I'm living in midtown detroit as an auto design student at CCS. I've got a vette, but I'm from manhattan and went on a few fun runs / parties with the fchat boys back east I miss those sunday morning cruises!

 

got a friend who lives in FH...we go to Waterford to road course the vettes quite often

i've got a good friend who is at CCS; and i nearly went there myself at one time.

 

Last time I was there was the fourth of July. I was working turn 6 and a guy lost it and put himself 20 ft sideways into the gravel pit Stopped a foot away from the wall... We dug him out.

I'll be going on the 22nd for the third installment of those time trials. Don't know if I will run though, I'm having trouble with my power steering - something that comes in handy on a road course I think it ought to be fixed by then.

 

hmm.... 22nd? i dono... i might be busy with an Enzo; but if not, i'll make my way out to Waterford Hills.
