    Hi,

Due my tyres Pirelli P7 were 8 years old (but with very few mileage on them), I decided to change them and upon a lot of research, I decided to go for Michelin Primacy 3 tyres with rim protector.

Road holding is terrible, with a lot of under steering and rear sliding when delivering power to wheels.

Was it a bad choice from my side.?

    Regards,
    Stephen

The "Primacy" is NOT really a recommended tyre for sports cars, more for Grand Tourers. The "Pilot Exalto" would have been a better choice.
That said, neither is officially homologated by Michelin for the 328: as the car has been manufactured in small numbers, and that even smaller numbers survive today, Michelin do not take the effort to homologate their modern tyres on our cars.
Nevertheless, I'm slightly surprised by what you say: what are the speed index and the age of the tyres you bought?

Tyre scare only 2 months old, and I bought the V as here in Malta I will not go over 240km/h.

Believe me, the Old Pirelli P7 tyre shave better grip.

    Stephen,

You bought them two months ago, or the DOT code on the tyre's side says they were manufactured two months ago?
The DOT code is spelled "DOT AA BB CCCC DDDD", with DDDD being the week and year of manufacture, i.e: 2315 would mean beginning of June 2015?
Its their date of manufacture that counts....

Really strange, Stephen...some people tell me,that, even if they are not the best for a "sports car", they need time to "bed in" (sorry if my english is not appropriate here)

That's true. But it should be done within a few miles. I once performed an unintentional powerslide after I just got my Michelin Pilot Sports. But I think, this was just the lube from tire manufacturing.
Stephen, how many miles did you drive with your new tyres till now?

    Best Regards
    Martin

Under steering and rear end sliding at the same time? I'm confused.

    Tyre break-in:

That's normal driving, you can speed it up with more aggressiveness. I'm all happy with my new RE71R tyres, break in done after about 350km.
